This sleep story is called "The Sleepy Cat". Enjoy this magical, romantic Scottish sleep story for grown ups (soft spoken ASMR) and relax for a while courtesy of Scotland's natural, musical sounds of the wilderness, to help you into a deep sleep.
Inspired by my mum's house and her feline friend (as well as a comment from a Patron about a cat story!), here we have a really relaxing story about a moggie in search of a cosy fire after getting caught in the rain!
With rainfall, fire crackles and purring, this one is sure to calm the cat lover in us all... :)

My ginger cat, Goose, somehow caught the cat flu (he’s an indoor cat) and I have had an exhausting day at the vet with him. He gave me a heart attack a few times because he had these breathing fits, similar to an asthma attack. Finally home, Goose is reunited with his sister and he’s stable. I am looking forward to a good nights sleep, this story was the first video in my recommended. Honestly think it’s fate. As soon as I heard your voice, I finally relaxed. Thank you Sam for putting so much effort into these videos. The quality is outstanding. I cannot thank you enough. Honestly put me in a good mood after a shitty day.

It's well past 2 a.m. and I'm trying SO hard to stay awake because this is so entertaining but the fire and purring are having the desired effects and are soon to win the fight. Can't tell you how many lines I've thought "oh I must comment on that...that's my favorite line". Also the detail in the volume of the sound effects (the rain muffled as the door shuts ...the fire is not yet heard until near) really is well done.Very polished results. Been meaning to mention, the extended pause you do between giving the title and starting speaking in your videos, I find fantastically deepening to the experience. Without thinking, I use this time to continue deep breathing and really connect with the wind or crackling fire. To really believe I'm there. Then you start speaking and I'm like "oh right, there's more! " 😂 The pause is brilliant. Anyhow, back to the story. Fighting to stay awake is the best way to find yourself asleep. I'll listen a second time during daylight hours. I'd love to know what your mum thought of the story.
