One of a few dolphin watching and snorkeling tours based in the Marina “Bandar Al Rowdha” east of Muscat. Well organized, clean boat, friendly and helpful staff. Usually offers an 8 am and a 10 am 2 hr dolphin watching tour; 1 hr of snorkeling can be added to the 10 am tour.Reserve in advance by email or phone, especially in high season. The school of dolphins is “watched” by all the boats (one could call it “chased” as well); however captain seemed to one of the best “spotters” as often were the first boat to get close to the dolphins. The tour ends with a short drive-by of the capital area of Muscat (so-called old town) where you can see the Sultan’s palace and the forts from the water.
