Loved this mate the bedrock there looks very similar to a couple of rivers I snipe here get a shovel and move more of the gravel back off that bedrock and there’ll be more gold.
@prospectingforadventure2 жыл бұрын
I'll have to give that a try. I was focusing on easy bedrock for sampling. If I go back to that spot I'll move more. Thanks for the tip!

Awesome video dude! Sniping rules and is for sure my favorite way to find gold. Beat the heat and keep having fun! Thanks for sharing and sweet picker man. You didn’t get skunked!

Almost got skunked. Lol Sniping sure beats bending over all day!

Nice picker! Sniping is my absolute favorite way to prospect, nothin beats the fun of floating around findin gold. The gold tends to have a bit more chunk to it too. Thanks for the vid

Definitely the most relaxing method. I still cringe a little knowing I'm probably fanning away small gold.

That was a very relaxing episode! I'm really enjoying your style of videos!! Thanks!

Laying down floating around is relaxing. I wanted to add that vibe to the video. Lol Glad you enjoyed it! I'm headed out right now to do it again. Different location though.

Great video! Looks like I will be giving a go at sniping. Lot of places along that river with shallow bedrock. Thanks again!

I like it, kind of tough local though.

I knew you must have been sniping to get that chunk! I was thinking sniping would be best for finding something decent on that river. Thanks for the proof

Good way to cover a lot ground on a tough stream.

@@prospectingforadventure Good point! I've dug that creek with very very little results. I figured the best gold would be out in the middle in the crevices. Watching your exploration confirms my thought but also tells be I was right to never go there again

Prospectors also take the mercury out of the land and water ! And most pick up whatever trash they come across! Makes up for a lot!!
@prospectingforadventure2 жыл бұрын
I always come home with extra trash, lead and sometimes mercury. And I've seen a lot of happy fish feeding in the stream as well. Lol

May I ask what stream or claim that was? I'm headed that way next month and I really don't want to waste time on a claim that's picked over.
@prospectingforadventure2 жыл бұрын
The river is pretty much all private property and claims. Even if you have a good lead this isn't the best stream to hit if you're afraid of wasting time. Email me at prospectingfa@gmail.com. I don't discuss locations on here. I don't want to be that youtube guy that ruined a spot.

It’s great that has miners clean up the environment but that’s not what it’s about with the state states issue is they aren’t getting any money from the gold that we find. That’s why they’re trying to stop the money. California solve it by giving the state a $200 prospector Fee
@prospectingforadventure2 жыл бұрын
I get that from the state. I get a lot of uneducated comments though.

What mask is that? Looks like it has a venting area on the nose to help keep fogging down?!
@prospectingforadventure2 жыл бұрын
I'll have to see if there's manufacturer on the mask. I bought it with other prospecting gear. So I don't know a lol about it. Brand new it might have been a great mask. Right now it has a tendency to leak and the rubber under my nose hurts after a while. I just replaced the mask for my next trip. Fogging wasn't really an issue after treating with baby shampoo.
