Snorkeling in Zakynthos - Underwater footage of the most famous places

During my last holiday in Zakynthos (2021) I recorded underwater footage of the most famous places.
Here is the list, with small comment from my side:
1. Blue Caves
Beautiful rock formations and a lot of life under water. In the caves themselves there is not so much to see under water, but the places around them are amazing.
2. Shipwreck Beach
The great view is only above the surface, not much can be notice underwater. Great place for sunbathing and taking photos, you can't see much in the water.
3. Dafni Beach
Incredible scenery and very friendly fish. There are schools of fish on the very shore, but it is worth going further for the rock formations.
4. Marathonisi Island
If you are lucky, you might spot a turtle here. The best holiday experience, the turtle is bigger than it looks.
5. Porto Limnionas Bay
Mixing of cold and hot water disturbs the clear view. Great pleace for water jumping and diving.
6. Tsilivi Beach
The greatest variety and the most beautiful views. Spending time underwater here gives the greatest pleasure.

Very nice, shame You miss Porto Zoro beach - absolutely amazing beach with fishes, nature shadow, beach bar and big rock under the watter :)

Unfortunately, as it is on holiday, there is always a time limit :-) Maybe one day I will have the chance to go back there and visit this beach Thanks a lot!

2 questions. 1. Did you take your own snorkel and flippers or buy there on holiday? 2 Shipwreck beach, can you get there by road and walk down or can you only get there by boat? Cheers

Boat only, but you cam drive and ealk and see from above

Can you see turtles in the blue caves are?

Unfortunately, I did not see any turtles there. Blue caves are open water, where these animals are unlikely to be spoted. Turtles are most easily found on the southern part of the island, starting from Laganas beach all the way to Marathonisi island. Good luck to you, I hope you will be able to swim with one of them!
