I know there has to be a story there, I'm just not seeing it. A whimsical/goofy octopus, sees a couple of mermaids, then the octopus is scared as the mermaids are super angry with you in the cart, then there's some talking rocks, a smiling tree, and the octopus is playing the drums, then there's a pirate ship or something and he's on the snow and the ride is over.

I don't know exactly what it's about either. The octopus is Snorri, the mascot of the Rulantica water park. Pirates in Batavia in Europa Park is very good for this
