I think you should put a snow plow on the front of your snow cat you could clear the road up to where the truck is stuck pull the truck out and drive the truck down the mountain I think that would help you out a lot
@Joshie22564 жыл бұрын
Plows require a lot of horsepower and therefore fuel. The only thing I might have done differently is to have a tow bar that fit into the receiver on the Toyota to replace the rope.
@wssides4 жыл бұрын
IF it would run, just go back up next day on a snowmobile or side by side. The tracks of the LMC will harden up enough to carry a pickup very easily. (just don't slip off!!)

First thing you need to do is to AIR-DOWN the pressure in the pickup truck tires down to 10 psi, so that the tires will have a better ability to 'FLOAT' over the snow. Then you can pull it out.
@travj44504 жыл бұрын
Why not drive it, once u pulled it out?

Trav J for one, the snow was too deep, and the rear tires are flat. So even after we got out of the snow it needed towed.

Why don't you use a trailer with skis? You know any vehicle you go to get out of snow will not be able to stay on top of the snow, like your racked rig will.

Plows take alota power and that burns fuel. Add in that thing is designed to float on the snow and anywhere you need a snowcat to get into well it probably dosen't get plowed so it's cheaper to use a pick up with a plow in most cases.
