I am from Australia and have never seen snow my whole life.To watch a video like this is like watching something made on a different planet.A couple of days ago it was 115F here and this is not even our hottest month.On hot days i like to watch snow videos to cool down.Thanks for sharing.

RICHY MARK NORMAN Thank you for watching and commenting! I would love to travel to Australia one day, so far I have not made it past the equator yet. I have experienced 115 F so I do know what your are talking about. I love warm climate but it's nice to be able to escape it! :) Yesterday I went for a 10K jogging run in -6 (21F) in the dark using studded(!) Asics running shoes...maybe I should film that at some point! :) Happy holidays!

That would be good.The only thing i know about snow is ,do not eat that yellow snow..:).I am guessing to drive in these conditions would be like driving on a wet slippery dirt road and to not make any sudden steering actions or braking.Happy holiday season to you also and all the best for the New Year.

I am from India and there is snow in Kashmir state of India and in Himalyas but I have never seen snow in India until I went to England. In fact my first snow experience is while driving bicycle in Cambridge where it doesn't snow year on year so I was lucky to witness it.

ubmokiran if you'd have been in England in December 2010 and January 2013, March 2013 and February 2009, you would have seen similar if not more snow than that in this video

@David Allen Yes through BBC recent years England has seen heavy snow than the times I lived in England. I am planning to come to England and buy a house in London :) or if possible you can advice me which is the best place to live in London. Where will the house price be lower in London. You can also tell me any place closer to London. Thanks in advance. Cheers

Oh my goodness!!!! That snow storm was very dangerous to drive in!!! I was virtual driving with you and I was scared because that snow got so bad that I couldn't see the surroundings like buildings and trees. All I seen was fog and thick white snow coming at you. That was good that you were calm enough to keep driving cause I could see the road and the car back lights that were in front of you. Man I have anxiety, that kind of driving brought it out.

Wow, awesome snow and that honda of yours is certainly a dependable vehicle for the snow. Living in the state of West Virginia in the US, we do get some snow but nothing like that for years now. I love the beauty of it but of course like you having to deal with the weight on the roof is not something I would want either. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed the video.

Great country, magic people, lovely city. If this happened, or even a quarter of this happened in UK everything would shut down. Can't wait to come back to Iceland. I just wish it wasn't so expensive for poor Brits. Takk fyrir að senda myndskeiðið

Thank you for watching and commenting! Iceland is at its peak when it comes to its economy right now. Usually things will come down, hopefully not too dramatically! The GBP has also been recovering a bit so I think Iceland will become slightly cheaper in the near future for Brits.

...and the staff getting to work was worth risking vehicular disaster and personal injury? Why not take a snow day? I mean, you don't mention the vocation of yourself nor of the staff...so if you're emergency room staff, ok, that could be essential. Otherwise...day off!
@finnurth

There would be so many offdays then...society would not function and we are in a way used to it we have most of the time proper gear.

@@finnurth it *does* make more sense when geographic norms are considered. I guess I was thinking about local conditions where the snow issue is usually resolved in a few days, rarely longer than a week.

Snoww Wwhite Imagine if you travel on vacation to a another country and wake up in the hotel just to see that the Hotel has no staff, no service, no breakfast just because the staff stayed home. Some tourists would understand, some would be seriously displeased since they payed for the service and expect it no matter the situation. I do believe that the level of service was worse this day since some staff did not make it. Thank you for watching and commenting!

In northern countries this kind of weather is normal,so it is normal to be expected to go to work and from it.I live in Bulgaria and for the past 3 winters i drove my father's renault scenic in such conditions to work and back.It was equipped with nexen winguard tires and it drove normal in such conditions(ofcourse with some common sense while behind the wheel).I can't wait winter and snow to come back this year so now i can drive my own alfa 156 with my nokian's.I don't know,i like driving in the snow, especially late in the evening when it's dark and calm,and roads are quite clear of traffic.I feel it like calm and adventures experience.It's just you,the car and the weather snowing and snowing....it makes me happy,calm and excited at the same time,the same as i like to have a lot of snow and to be cold on Christmas (maybe i still have the kiddo inside of me),i just can't explain it.
