I've had luck with submerging in baking soda+warn water. My goggles developed a really bad smell after I left them in the bag for weeks after a rainy day. I thought I had to buy a new lens, but I was able to save them.

Sooooo... how do you clean them? I've got little dots of dirt on the inside lens. 'dabbing when dry' isn't cutting it. any suggestions?

@@peter_marcelli I wash mine with water. I wet my finger and then gently rub the lense. it won't scratch it if it's wet.

Couldn't agree more. Bought a pair last year and as good as the lenses are for visibility you can't use them for more than 1 season. They fog up and scratch so easily if you try to clean the lenses at all. The durability just isn't there for the price that they are asking people to pay

@@lilkae101 if so why don't you just apply antifog on your goggles every season it's way more cheaper than buying new lenses every season. By the way no manufacturer will recommend you this cause you know they make money on it.

@@lilkae101 I'm on my 3rd season with a pair of line miner and they're still A-1. Before that I wore crowbars for 4 years and never did any special care as shown in the video, nor applying new anti-fog... However, everything has its limit that is aligned with the type of usage and the frequency!

Pop the lense out if it's a replaceable lense and wash the frame without the lense in it. I typically use dish detergent and water for that.

I'm very disappointed in what Luxottica is doing to Oakley. Made in USA means not made in China. USA MADE means nothing. The term USA MADE it's a lie So they are misleading buyers by juggling with letters. That pi....s me off. I respect the term and what stands behind Made in U.S.A.
