Weird winter. I live in the mountains in southwest Colorado at over 7000 ft. We normally have a couple of feet of snowpack by this time of year. There is nothing now. I can go hiking if I wanted to. Hopefully it's a snowy spring at least

It does indeed occasionally snow in the south. We may not handle it as well as northerners (Henry Cho famously quipped that Texas closes the schools if we even predict snow), but it happens.
