He killed several replicants… and indirectly caused several shades death through his actions? Both Niers are flawed regardless if we are talking of the original or the replicant. Edit: In hindsight I feel Devola and Popola are in many ways more tragic. They tried to manage the porject and due to the actions of humans and replicants the project failed, and then they maintained the blame of it solely for milenias. When in reality it was the actions of the NieR’s both the Gestalt and the replicant.
