This all reminds me of the past. When i want to cry, then i take my MP3 player and listen to this song. I want to thank snowpatrol for this and for all other songs. Its great, everything is great, if you have the right opinion, if you have the chance to have this opinion. My condolence to everyone who is poor, who lost someone or is simply alone. To be alone is really sad. I hope someday we all are happy and can live together peacefully. I dont know why i say that, and sorry for my bad english.

They both do have similar beginnings, nice to know someone else caught on to that. The only difference is the constant strum in Open Your Eyes and the single strum in I gotta Feeling. Also I gotta Feeling added a more techno electronic sound. I haven't checked out the tabs for I Gotta feeling, I am curious to see what it is. I agree, both songs amazing!
