I actually enjoyed this more than the original album version, it's so nice to see them playing such a mellow song with their energy. It's also awesome to hear the crowd singing and see them having a good time, since these TV crowds tend to be pretty dead... but daaaamn, those 2 guys at 4:38 holding their phones pissed me off, do they even know they're on the Snow Patrol show? :)

There is one thing that bothers me at any live event, no matter the band: A crowd not being able to clap in strict time. It's so simple, just follow the impulses of the bass drum and clap either on every impulse, which is 4/4 for this song. Or clap on every second impulse, preferably on 2 and 4, which, given the speed and mood of the song, is better fitting and prevents you from going too fast. These rules are pretty much basic to most modern songs and I really don't get how people still manage to mess up like they do in this performance. Otherwise this is a very epic performance by Snow Patrol!
