Would you rather have this tent or the Alpha Breeze? Can you do comparison videos on some of these Snow Peak Tents and highlight why you would choose one tent over the other for a certain situation, etc.? I think that would also be helpful. Thanks for your reviews thus far.

Thank you for watching and your support for the channel. The Alpha Breeze offers a little more floor space and height, larger windows with four entrance points, and more robust waterproofing/materials. Having said that, the Land Nest is pretty great in terms of its design and I really enjoy camping with it. So both tents take me around the same time to setup although each one sets up differently since the land nest is a shelter style tent. One advantage of this style is for rainy weather camping. When I camp in the rain with my other tents, I just setup a tarp first and place gear underneath. Another thing I would consider is how many people are you camping with? If more people, I'd lean towards the Alpha Breeze for the extra space. Hopefully this helps a little, I've been wanting to get more walk through videos up on the channel but haven't had a chance. Like all your videos, you have great content and it is a pleasure to watch it. I must agree with you on the color of the tent, it is soothing and easy on the eye. How big is the vestibule once it is closed in case of rain? enough for 2 chairs and a small table? In Snow peak web it is not clear whether it has 2 entrances and 2 vestibules or just 1. Hey, thank you so much! So there’s only one vestibule and we’ve all three sat in it zipped up and it was snug, but manageable. Two chairs and small table would be fine. Just want to note that there is only one small triangle vent and no mesh windows for ventilation though. You can enter the tent from either side as well as have the vestibule on the front or back. Hope this helps!

Ryan, great content as usual. I am now slightly addicted to Snow Peak products at this point. I have the Alpha Breeze tent and it was perfect for a recent warm weather trip since it offers so many windows. My question on the Land Nest is would it provide a better cold weather option with the inner tent design?

Hey, thank you so much! Glad to hear you're enjoying the Alpha Breeze. The inner tent design is better for keeping gear dry when it's raining. If you bring a heater, it's also easier to heat up the entire space since the Land Nest is much lower. The Alpha Breeze has higher weather resistant coatings, but depending on where you live this may not be necessary.

The Land Breeze Pro. 4 and the Pro. series tents as a whole can withstand harsher conditions and year round weather. Depending on where you live and the seasons you go out in, the LBP 4 may be more versatile.

Hi Ryan thanks for the reply. I am considering this too. I love how simplistic Land Nest is. Do you think the Land Nest can withstand 0-10 degree C Pacific Northwest (BC, Canada) rainy winter? I also saw customizable snow skirt options if that would help. Thanks!

Did you ever consider the land lock? It's obviously a beast but I like the shelter / sleep combo and the ability to stand inside.

Currently eyeing that Pro Air version of the Land Lock in the 2023 Autumn festival collection! It's an awesome tent, just haven't got my hands on one yet. I imagine having that enclosed space in the wind and cold would be nice!

Love the futon! It’s so simple to assemble and can be configured in multiple ways. I’ll have to get a full review of that one up here!

Althoguht the tent layout/appearance might similar to the Marmot Halo, the inner tent design seems more intelligent and practical to me😊. Marmot is rainfly cover the pole and tent, SP landnest is selter with pole cover and hanging the inner tent. 👍👍👍👍

The Land Nest takes me slightly longer to setup than the Alpha Breeze, but to be fair I've setup the Alpha Breeze many more times. I think out of all my tents, the Land Breeze Pro. 4 takes me the longest to setup.
