Hey Kim, thank you 💛 This week + weekend went better 💪 These open lake areas can be very treacherous, if you don't have windproof clothing you will quickly find it too cold

This is a beautiful snow walk in the country i liked seeing the windmill at the beginning it was awesome, this area is very beautiful and the most amazing scenic views especially while you are walking around all of this beauty surrounding you here with the snow covering everything this is why i like seeing Finland especially in this part of the country, this is another marvelous walking tour of more of the beautiful Finnish countryside Thank You very much and have an awesome weekend Sevy Kiitos ystava. 🇫🇮👋😺👋🇫🇮

Hi Sevy! 👋 The trees are SO pretty when covered in snow. I appreciate that you pause and bring the camera up to show us the tops of the trees. If I were walking, I would be looking up because I love trees. Vanhankylanniemi !! That's quite a mouthful. Then, when you got to the lake, I'm wondering if that's safe.....images of people falling through the ice in my mind. But this was December, and I saw people skiing in the background. It's probably in the Springtime that the ice starts to break up. About the 27:30 mark, it sounded like an American talking about snowboarding. I had actually been thinking that there probably aren't too many American tourists in the winter. If you ever come across anyone from San Diego there in the snow, that would be a rarity!! ☺️ We would be like aliens in your world, but it really IS a beautiful world. 🇫🇮💙🇫🇮 Thanks for sharing and hope you are doing well. Do you continue to take footage in the warmer months with the longer hours of sunlight? Best wishes. 🌼🌼🌼🌼

Good to see you Robin. Yes, i also try to focus on my surroundings and take short breaks every now and then while walking. The ice on the lake was already very thick, even vehicles to create the skating rinks drive across the lake. If it's your first time on a frozen lake, it will definitely feel weird and scary, but you'll also get used to it fast. It can take a very long time, even well into spring, for the lake to completely melt again. Most tourists would spend time in Lapland, enjoying the ski resorts and admiring the beautiful Northern Lights (which i am patiently waiting to capture in Southern Finland) I also film walks in the summer, but less intensely, because i prefer snow and darkness. I'm going to visit family in Belgium again for a few weeks, so i'm trying to film places outside Finland during the summer period.
