In Snow White 1937 version, the part where the Evil Queen disguises herself as an ugly old hag and gives Snow White a poison apple which she faints after eating it reminds me of how Robbie Rotten disguises himself as an old lady and gives Sportacus a sugar apple which he faints after eating it in Lazy Town season 4, episode 12 Robbie's Dream Team.

Similar to the riddle where the host cuts an apple in half and shares half of the apple with his guest and as soon as the guest eats his apple he dies but the host survives despite eating the same apple. How is this possible? Well because the host poisoned one edge of the knife that he had cut the apple with so the guest took the poisoned half of the apple and the host took the other half of the apple without the poison.
