I remember watching an alternate interpretation of the dark knight trilogy. It explained how there's certain political ideas which movie makers would like to explore, however, Hollywood will only allow those concepts to be expressed by psychopaths - like Ras Al guhl. A sad time for them. Back 20-30 years ago there were several good movies nearly every year. A perfect example of what you're talking about was top gun: maverick in 2022. It wasn't a masterpiece.but it was the only GOOD woke-free movie of the year. Because of that it grossed over a billion dollars and was talked about for months. Good tv shows have always been kind of rare I'd argue but these days being inserted with so much woke crap makes them harder to watch
