I dont know where youre at, but I think every mountain in the US has gotten SOME snow at this point. I pay attention to a lot of the east coast resort weather and was just in VT for a whole week and it snowed every single day. Stowe sitting at almost 130" for the season with only one semi melt out.

I want them to not only convey the greatness of Japan's snow, but also the importance of manners and following the rules. After all, they are enjoying the nature of Japan, so I want them to follow the local culture and rules even if it's a hassle.

I wouldn’t trade being a father for anything, but man-o-man being in your 30’s with just barely enough money to travel and seek adventure is some of the best this life and world has to offer. Can’t wait to bring my kids to ski one year in Japan. Everyone complains about Ikon/Epic, but these passes are making once-in-a-lifetime ski trips far more realistic for many of us.

My season started out around early December. Decent snow. Then I had to go to Georgia for Christmas. My girlfriends family lives there. Two weeks away from snow for that. Then every weekend since then. Wish I could get out there on work days. Too far away. I got some vacation soon though. Two weeks of snowboarding as much as my body can take.
