The update 1.8 is here, I was recording some gameplay with the new character but could not get her... (as usual). I don't mind spending on costumes, battle passes, and such, but will not pay for gacha draws... too bad cause the skin looks nice...

I play Brown Dust 2, Nikke and even tried Tower of Fantasy recently. As you know all of those games are full of fanservice and mostly female characters. I don't mind that at all, it's part of the charm. But something really irks me about Snowbreak's recent direction, it really feels forced the way they're pushing the fanservice and 'master love' thing. I know they're successful now and even topping the charts, but I guess that is part of the reason why, they became mainstream in CN. But still Nikke is 'mainstream' too and even earns more than Snowbreak, but it doesn't feel forced at all, only Snowbreak does (to me).

i got your point. Wall of texts incoming talking about fanservice lol. Brown Dust in their first game was already famous for their fanservice, and their artstyle really "supports" the lewds. Coming to Brown Dust 2 with that expectation, make the game actually DELIVERS it really well. Brown Dust 2 just felt like they crank the fanservice to eleven because they finally got ultimate skill cutscene which is just very down bad. I dare to say the most down bad of all gacha games. ToF is quite fanservice-y, but for me personally, it's not weird since i didn't expect much to begin with. I'd say Wuthering Wave felt weirder for their fanservice (jiggle physics, fem rover design) due to my expectation from PGR. Meanwhile ToF, is a new game, doesn't look that polished in the beginning, expectation was low but it was fun. So when they release sexy units, it just made sense. Beside the sexiness wasn't too much, right? (i didn't quite follow the newest units tho). Nikke was marketed to be a VERY fanservice game in the beginning, but honestly? The sexiness mostly came from the shooting sprites, how these ladies squat and bend over to shoot their guns. I'd argue the design themselves wasn't too much for most of them. Even if they are revealing, they still got some style on them. Their ultimate skill cutscene is very far from being "too much" imo, esp. when Brown Dust 2 exists. Even a very recent unit, Soda Bunny Suit Costume, was very sexy, emphasizing on her HUGE chest, the shooting sprite is also quite lewd, but the ultimate animation was rather...beautiful or cute. If it was Brown Dust 2, just checked the Eclipse Bunny Suit Costume ultimate skill cutscene lol, they'd do it like that. Beside Nikke story definitely turns out to be as a strong playing factor as the fanservice for the player. Now Snowbreak is definitely weird because it seems they change midway...? In the beginning it looks like PGR but open world (futuristic apocalypse with emphasize on guns), even more than WuWa, but suddenly we got someone wearing practically a naked apron as combat suit...? I thought that crossbow chick wearing fanservice costume, but apparently that was the default one. And her ult was her opening her legs up in the air as the camera goes down to it. And now we got those steam H games interactive private room?? Like, if i was teenager with too much hormones, this would be the BEST TIME to live lmao.

I'm not sure why even though I've set all the graphics options to the highest level, it still looks quite bad, for example, the image is quite blurry, and not as clear as in your video.

These Chinese are too greedy, new banners with 0.1% chance. The visuals have become better, but without a donation it takes months of grinding to knock out even 1 character. A new banner with “100%” and 0.1% needs even more time.

Each patch is getting closer to that, but considering they're a CN company they can't make a full H game. But if you watch their recent trailers, it's pretty close. And when game launched it was a whole 180 degrees different direction, being less lewd than Genshin.
