Well this storm could bring 10 inches to Maine and maybe 5-8 to northern vt. Check out open snow. You should be able to ski till mid April maybe longer with another storm.

No way, at least not in NH and ME. Upper mountain base will likely hold on during the rain, and then upslope snow will fall afterwards. Then, in the Presidential Range and Maine, models are consistently calling for 12"+ and 10"+ respectively. Following that, temperatures will fluctuate as a rain->snow system moves thing that will probably have only a net snow gain at higher elevations. Cold air moves in with that storm too.

@@johndriscoll213 open snow is showing any where from 14-26 inches over the next 10 days in northern vt, Maine and NH. There analyst said that might be slightly optimistic. I was talking more in terms of resort skiing, most resorts close in April. Killington is an exception and I think this year is may. Backcountry and non lift services skiing can go later depending on the year.

I see, I usually ski pennsylvania southern ny or jersey. Maybe I will make the trip up to Vermont, but I am worried about covid restrictions.
