Wow you both have gotten into some great shape. When Curt was climbing that mountain, I was so afraid! Any little slip and gone especially since he had already hiked so far. I had to look away but that camera gave such a beautiful view while he was doing that not safe thing. Snow - believe it or not, I buy dresses with that exact same material at Family Dollar. I have had these for over 5 years with no piling, no wrinkles. Love taking them on vacay since I can just roll them and go.

Snow and Curt , thank you so much. Looking forward to seeing your trip continuing in EU , etc. we will be shipping our 144 - 4x4 sprinter to UK spring of 2025. I’m fitting it out as we speak it’s a 2022 with 200 miles on the clock. Our plan is a multi year tour of all the EU , Uk , Balkans, Eastern Europe, turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijani and hopefully most of the Stan’s.we will also do North Africa as well. Awesome guys, 8 months into our N American tour and a tick for everything except the photographic equipment (not YouTubing) and not needed a head torch. Here’s one for your European trip, we only took cabin bags on the plane and they have been in the way in our camper, go for ones that collapse completely or donate to a charity shop when you arrive!

Two of our suitcases are actually our waterproof pelican storage boxes for our tools and spare parts! The other suitcases will get donated pretty quick! Same thing with the pet crates 😊

I love ALL your recommendations, and I have been a vanlifer for 4 years. If I could make a small suggestion to go along with the tow strap: soft shackles. Versatile for accessing way more access points on the vehicle, lightweight, easy to store and don't "clank".

Something strange my stepdad used to do, who just died recently, he had a big a&w mug and would fill it with half black coffee and half water every morning. I always thought why would he drink coffee that way, but when you wake up you're always dehydrated so it's kind of smart I guess lol

That insta camera scared the crap out of me when you were climbing up those rocks/mountain, Curt! I'm not kidding! Yep, it was anxiety inducing! I was worried half to death! That camera is incredible. Thank you for your list of favorite products. I'm not a van-lifer, but you did remind me I wanted a head lamp. I do have a walking stick for when I hike and love it. We have the head lamp and the walking sticks. We don't leave home without them when traveling. I keep a set of the walking sticks in the truck for that unexpected walk on a park trail!

I trust your time tested choices. I’ve seen a head lamp that is a headband of tiny lights that wrap around your forehead instead of heavy knob and elastic head gear that stretches out. Just seen it advertised. Not sure where.

I don't recommend those. The lights are great & very bright BUT It puts out a lot of heat! Ok for winter, miserable for summer.

3:16 trust me this is one of the best knives in the world, most professional chefs uses that knives in the uk. You need a good “Still” to sharpen it the same brand as your knives are very good, be careful try not to use those sliding sharpeners you might dent your knife edges and you won’t sharpen as good as with a good still
