I used to play this song when DJing in Aix-en-provence and Montpellier, France in 2007 and 2009. Good times and friendships with so many people from so many different places. Thanks for posting!

I was there when you first released this! Or didn't. Whenever it hit the blogs. I wanna say 7 years ago? So many memories come rushing back. I love you much Treasure Fingers!!!

What a blast from the past! I think it was 2007-2008. The boys from Evol Intent came with fresh projects of their own after they released Era of Diversion. I remember the article in Rinse Mag, and the subsequent drop on the message boards and blogs. It was so exciting as an era for music looking back! There was a lot of expirimentation between electro house, techno and dubstep and the garage influences, and the blogs, though sometimes toxic, really pushed the sound and made mountains of great tunes!

Lucas at that time I didn’t once hear electro house and dubstep together. Dubstep wasn’t dubstep in 2007. There was only garage and the fusion with house I don’t recall happening. Dubstep didn’t start becoming something till 2010. Sorry if I misunderstood what you’re trying to say. I’m reading it as if there was a fusion. Unless you mean experimentation in those genres separately?

One of the definitive dubstep records was midnight request line which was on dub for a while before the release of Skream! In 2006. I was listening to some of the early streaming staples like subfm and dubstepfm later on that brought it to the states. Back then we called it dubstep and it wasn't well known in the states so I saw it mix in with dnb, breaks, techno, and hip hop acts in the early days as it made it to the states! It was the dark garage sound as you remember! I need to get out😩

Lucas oh shit that was 2006? I clearly remember that song. I was a dubstep dj back in the days. I used to play for an online radio station back in the days awesome cougars radio. Well the skream track came after digital mystikz who pioneered dubstep. Which had to be after the blow up era of electro rock and disco house ala treasure fingers. Does missingtoof.com ring any bells?

I can't believe this is 14 years old already. Palmsout and Missingtoof were the truth.
