Great Black Series collection and video! I really like the design of your room, especially the wooden shelf, I think it goes well with the BS and highlights them. The white alcove with the shelves is great too. It remains balanced and airy and the well-chosen dioramas give a very nice touch! Very inspiring. (The backs of the boxes in the other room are pretty cool. If you ever run out of space, you could cut them out to make a wall decoration and throw away the rest!)

Best advice I can give you when referring to shelf space and running out of room. Store all your empty card backs in bins. You got a lot of wall room there you could do hanging shelves and you have an entire shelf space it’s just being used with empty card backs. great collection. Very enjoyable video.

Excellent idea, but I kinda like the look of the cards on the wall. I just wish they weren't in the storage room where no one really sees them. I wish I had a better "wall" to put them on. I've actually contemplated storing the boxes in bins... That would free up two entire bookcases. We'll see. Space is precious! :) I appreciate you checking out the video!

That’s just me but since it seems like room is an issue I would just assume that would be the best course of action. But I’m sure you’ll figure out, what’s best for you. Amazing collection. I did technically start 2017 with getting the sequel trilogy. They were cheap in a store at £6 a figure. They also had the first releases of the Rogue One figures. I then stopped until 2022 when I started collecting the Mando Galaxy packaging. I then turned to the 2nd Rogue One releases. I have decided to stop but have managed to secure a Cara Dune Red Box in new condition for twice the original price. Another sold a few hours at four times the original price so I am very happy with what I got.

Blue Cara Dune 💙 for x2 retail is a bargain... I had to pay £85 on UK ebay 14? months ago, which is in-line with the other x4 retail "value"

I have been watching recent past listings and they have sold £45 to £50 for preowned (one was new). I decided on no more than £40 and lost out on a couple of auctions. I ended up sendings offers to buy it now ones and got it yesterday. They had it at buy it now £85. Around last Christmas, they were selling at £100+.

For me it all started back in 2019 when I was in target one morning and saw the Target Exclusive Carbonite Mandalorian and was like Wow that’s cool.. So I bought it along with a few others . You are also a box hoarder! 😅 I've never thrown a smidgen of BS packaging away, ever. I've even kept the paper sachets for the accessories in pfp...😅 This was a proper treat Matt, thank you!!

Thanks, David! The Walking Dead is great (for the most part). We still need to finish the last season, as well as some of the spin-offs. The Katana is pretty cool - happy to have it. During season 4 (I guess), we drove down to Senoia, GA (it's about 1 1/2 hours from where we live) and found a lot of the filming locations. Woodbury, Alexandria, some of the houses, Herschel's farm... Very nice town! And of course, Terminus is right on the outskirts of Atlanta - we past that on the way down to Senoia. I'm not sure about the boxes... I lilke displaying them, but they do take up space. Glad you enjoyed the video - I appreciate you watching as always, my friend!

@@Matt_Bryant I'd love to see all that! "Les Farm du Hershal" is a beautiful spot. What is your attic doing? My "loft" space is about one-third rammed full of BS boxes. They will be pried from my cold, dead hands!! It was always somewhat of an ambition of mine, to display each figure in front of it's packaging, but that idea went to shit as soon as I hit about 50 figures!! 😃

Yeah, the farm had a big NO TRESPASSING sign out front. So, we couldn't go near it, but we still found where it is. We also found Raleigh Film Studios where the prison scenes were shot. The attic is an option for the boxes for sure!

( French actually used correctly!! 😃) It's that good, even my Daughter loves it!! ❤️ And she, almost on principle, likes nothing that Dad likes, typical teenager style. I just pack a cardboard box up now, with BS boxes, tape it up, write a contents label and "up she goes" in the loft, then repeat.

Awesome vid, love these update videos! btw the box situation.. Decisions have always been difficult for me so what I learned over the years is just ask yourself does it spark joy? Only you can make that decision what to do with them but if you were going to keep them you wouldn't be batting around the idea of getting rid of them, so in my opinion stop delaying the inevitable and make a bulk listing on ebay for a reasonable price. Someone will be happy and you'll get a nice chunk of change to further the hobby. Plus you've grown a platform here on KZbin so it'd kind of work like advertising it, KZbin may actually help get it sold quicker if speed was important to you. Options are good! :D

What kind of paint/foam do you use for the risers? They are perfect for these size shelves. Nice collection!

I get the black foam from work. Some supplies/equipment are packed in it and I've found it works well for figures. It's fairly dense. The other risers are literally just white styrofoam cut and painted to look like stone. I just use acrylic paint and I make my own black or brown wash. I appreciate you checking out the video! 👊
