Just bought one and the jack switch only goes down and won't go up. Any idea 💡 thanks

Thanks for your comment! I spoke with one of our Tech Support reps and this is what he had to say: The jack switch will not operate until the controller is in mount mode. Turn the controller on and you should have a green light. Press the down button and hold until the blue light comes on. When it comes on, let go and wait for 1.5 seconds. Then press the down button again until the red blinking light comes on. Once it is blinking, then the switch should be activated.

Thank you for the reply. My controller isn't the same as the one in this video. Its the one with an hour glass shape button in the middle. When I hold down the dog doesn't change color lol

@@lumberjakmatt7683 Ah! You have the Gen 1 controller, which will not go into mount mode. Only Gen 2 controllers have mount mode.

Do I need to snow prep my 2009 Toyota Tundra if I buy this plow? Do I need to level it as well?

We always recommend a little front-end help (either timbrens, level kit or lift kit). Some trucks sit higher than others, so they may not need help. We also always recommend that the truck has a plow prep package, but that is not required. The prep package consists of a larger alternator, larger battery, and stronger front end. The VMXII is our lighter-weight V-plow, but the truck still may need to boost the front end up a little. I hope this helps!

@@BuyersProductsCompany thank you so much. I'm in the process with one of your dealers to get this plow and they do offer to install the leveling kit as well. I already bought a bigger interstate battery. Just need to get the alternator.
