I love it even when the tranquility is in short supply🙂 Can you imagine existing there if there was no protection? Brr! That snow looks pretty wetting.🥶 For all that, I find myself hugely attracted by Lofoten, and have used one of my cruiseship photos as a reference for a painting of them. One day maybe I'll visit.

I use 2 monitors for work and when I am doing some casual reading, I love to watch some scenary videos in one of my monitors and read using the 2nd. I have watched many walk with me videos in the strees of Japan for example. Its nice to watch it outside work when you see many people walking on the streets. But I always wished for a scenary video which has less movement but perfectly captured the beauty of the place giving us the time to soak ourselves in that picture perfect beautiful place. Thankfully KZbin recommended this video to me. I got a chance to visit Oslo and I fell in love with the city. Thoroughly loved every single frame of this masterpiece. Subscribed. Finally I got a video that will permanently take a place in my 2nd monitor to comfort my eyes and ears as I work. Water sounds in the background are extremely soothing. First few seconds - Opening shot of your video.. That is how heaven would look like, if someone asked me. Snow capped mountains, lovely island with a handful of beautiful houses.. And sunshine between the peaks.. What more can one ask for from Mother Nature... Whoever is living there.. is living the dream IMHO ...

Hehehe I live in Norway and is often so envious of people living in warmer countries. But man 43C I don't know how I would survive that. I visited Thailand in summer once. I was like: How do people have energy to do ANYTHING in this heat!? How can they even think? My brain turned to mush. How is if for you guy who are used to it? Does the heat effect your brain? Do you get really tired? Summer in Norway is quite nice though.

@@erikengheim1106 43°C is not normal here actually the average temperature of Delhi is 36°C and temp over 40°C is considered severe heatwave(orange alert) but because of climate change it becomes quite often in summer in recent years and of course health issues are there because human body can't take that much heat constantly. Winter in Delhi is quite nice 18max 4min(on an average in northern India plains) we also have same thoughts about Scandinavians how you guys take that much cold?

I visited the Lofoten in Summertime. Wintertime is for strong Vikings that can endure the long and dark winter ;) Nevertheless I will one time visit northern Norway in the winter and stay there for a few weeks, also to experience the Northern Lights in full glory. Without exaggeration I can say that it is from landscape, the most overwhelming an beautiful country I ever visited. I drove all along the coastway from the Northcape to Stavanger in the South, 2'000 km of pure beauty. It was in June and it is interesting to see, while you drive, the seasons change. From wintercold and snow in early june at the Northcape, to springtime in Bodo and summer in Bergen. Looking forward to visit Lofoten Islands again and then I will also visit Andøya island with its beautiful beaches. Greetings from the Netherlands.

Here the temperature is always like 30°-40° and in winter the temperature is minimum more than 10° . So we don't know what snow is about or how it works in European Countries.
