Informative. Does this consume the credit? If it is not then it's good to implement required tables and get saved the compute cost and time.

Yes, it consumes credits when it is built. And if the underlying data is updated, then it will consume additional credits when it's time to rebuild the Service. So the ideal use case is for WORM (Write Once Read Many) data.
