Instead of Stored procedure then what should be used to get data for reporting web applications? E.g. we want to show charts on the website then do we need to run select queries directly from the website?

I am not saying that we should not use Stored Procedure... for many scenarios, SPs are the only way and when it has to be used, it must be used with best practices. dbt is now a popular alternative for it.

Thank you for bringing up such topic .... i am transition from D.E to architect role ...was looking something like this video where i can tune snowflake objects ...will go through all video . I have one query "how to integrate api to snowflake " might be layman query but can you please hint on it.
