The KWSU logo's font is Stop, and they didn't even use that font properly! They literally used an upside down M.

The KWSU logo is only known to have appeared on Heart - The Second Ending Live At KWSU, which aired in April 1976.

KWSU seems to suffer from the excessive use of trailing, which in a dark logo like this can be offputting. Given the music as well which has that droning tone and a suspenseful rise at the end made me feel this was intentionally designed to be this way. Also, how did this last into 1994? I can understand that being used into the mid 80's, but not into the mid 90's.

As weird & creepy as the KWSU logo looks & sounds, I kind of like it. The retro-arcade type theme's pretty cool, but I can see why it's ugly. The elderly who are not used to arcades & video games may find this disturbing at the time.

Can't believe I haven't gotten around to posting "P E R S O N A L O P I N I O N S" on this yet. 20: Don't understand how something made in the 1990's can look like it was made in 2017. Really rattles with my head. 19: I see this logo in countdown lists more than I see my parents. 18: Oh boy! Scanimation! 17: The color scheme is an eyesore and the logo being off center messes with my brain. 16: Spent more time banging on the synthesizer than the animation. 15: Looks like somebody ran out of time in the Nick Arcade bonus round. 14: I've seen public access cards with more effort than this. 13: Can't be too hard on this one; after all it was 1952. 12: I actually like this one. Just remove the unnecessary black bars at the end and redo the orchestration and it's alright. 11: The flags fused together hurts my brain. That brick phone is still more affordable than eggs and gas. 10: I see that I'm not the only one who thought it looked like that over-hated Gap logo. 09: The logo's alright, it's just the VHS quality that makes it look and sound worse than it actually is. 08: Was too distracted by that earworm soundtrack to pay any attention to the logo. I find it odd that my state is the first to turn orange though. 07: Ahead of it's time. 06: Another one that is over-hated in my opinion. 05: KUHT jumped on the oversimplification trend of 2019- before it was cool! 04: So this is where the Seahawks got their horrible color scheme from! 03: Animation is typical for the time of the scanimation craze, the colors are a migraine trigger though. 02: The music sounds too medieval for my liking and once again, the color scheme is atrocious. The font looks like something from a high school yearbook. 01: Gross! WSU! ROW VIKES!

Oh, dear lord, the KWSU logo is fucking horrendous. From the design, to the animation, and to the music! KUED in Salt Lake City had a better jingle than that-- and it was also migraine-inducing. As for cheesy, I'd also put WJCT in Jacksonville on the list, at least its 80s logo, complete with a jingle that almost sounds exactly like the NBC jingle-- maybe on the verge of a lawsuit from the Peacock Network.

1st Opinion NET Should be lower All it is is just the logo on a black background with looks like something out of ms paint with an announcer and just complete silence like is so boring. 2nd Opinion Idk Why people Hate South Carolina ETV 1981-1983 the music is good the animation is decent Nice Logo.
