Just replaced digitizer and screen, easy with a heat pad. Screen broke two days later. Where can I can I get a new digitizer with gorilla glass? Did not drop phone, maybe squeezed it when pulling it out of holster, and it should not crack when I did that, but did. All the digitizers on ebay come from china and may be defective.

Yes... Screens come from china, and maybe you got a bad one. Did you contact the seller about that problem? You can also find the original screen and digitizer, because the replace screen is lcd, and the original is Oled. Aliexpress has a good price on.original OLED screens, you could search there

On the last model i repaired, it did. I think it's because the hreplacement screen is slightly thicker, so it gets to bounce around a bit, but i managed to put some plastic under the button to get it up and in place before the gluing

For pinned comment for china displays.... It is very true! I had few (AAA class) displays for J5 2015 and 2016 which broke at slightest pressue when i mounted the display on frame. Beware of those displays. You want to earn more money, but instead, you have lost it....

I would only recommend fluid adhesive, the one in the video is too thick. Do not use this kind of adhesive!

Dude if it has a gap it means you didn't bought the original display .The original display uses OLED technology which is thinner then the (TFT) .It means that the TFT is thicker then the OLED ,that s why you can't fit yours . And last thing the TFT is cheaper then the OLED which make sense ,the OLED is more brighter then the TFT .

You need glue with these fake screens as the light shines out from the edge rim of the phone! Also the sensor light doesn't work when making a call, the screen goes black! Be careful fitting generic screens. It can end up costing you a fortune if you balls it up!

+Craig B well I haven't had problems with replacement displays yet. I always advise to test the display before mounting it on the frame. I also use B-7000 glue. It's perfect for smartphone repairs. And the most important, you have to be extremely gentle and calm... Best regards.

+snowkingcro I've tried to fit 3 of them and they are too thick. The edges around the phone don't stick down properly and the internal screen light shines out through the gaps. The sticky adhesive is not strong enough. It's a well known fault design with a lot of these generic screens. Regards.

There's a gap showing in the bottom part of the screen, this screen doesn't sit well. I did a replacement just now, same thing. I suspect it has to do with the sticky tape the original screen is sitting on but I'm not sure.
