Thank you for posting this, i would guess you are correct about the date of this about 65 the old Ski-Doo's are all pre 65 as are the bubble nose Orange Moto-Ski's , i belive all the Bolen's Huski's are from the 64-65 era also, a great look at snowmobiling past for sure!

My father, Jim Oja, is in this video. He flies off the start line @ 2:15 (yellow sled, blue jacket, red hat). About 15 seconds later he leads going into the turn. He always rode on one knee as he felt it gave him better control.

Started riding in '63; owned a '64 skidoo (last one) Polaris ever since till today. Vintage races were awesome in the day. Still love oval ice racing... Snocross not so much

great stuff, thanks for uploading; its got to be '65-'66 though, as SnoJet didn't come out with their first sled as MY 1965 I believe with very small numbers produced. Those guys on the front drive Bolens are funny, they look like they have good traction though!

u gotta be kidding now frunkie!! I'm lmfao. sleds then were a nightmare to keep running compared to now. exellent video though. my dad had an old johnson when i was a kid. then we got a ski-doo Olimpic 335 in 69 or 70. No Frukie my friend the average machine nowadays is light years ahead of them old ones.

The video is awesome but I'm thinking that a little informative narration would make it very cool. How about a little info on the sleds and maybe a little play by play commentary on the action. Thanks for posting!!!

Back when sleds were built to last. Not like the plastic crap they put out now. Waste of money new sleds are.
