I've been there done that man. When I was younger me and my dad went ice fishing out in a nearby lake. Now, try riding 2 up with a 99 Polaris 550 short track WITH a pack sled with gear an ice auger ( with an eng ) THROUGH slush. Worst part was the pack sled had big skis that dug into the slush

or just trade the SDI in for HO. the 600 HO is bonkers compared to the SDI power wise. I can go anywhere a 800 can go as far as the original rev chassis

@brianpytleski55128 жыл бұрын
Why stay on the trail when there's a river or lake nearby? Flatter, smoother and FASTER. Fastest route from point A to Point B. As long as your belt doesn't get wet and slip, or fry a piston you're all good lol.

good video. not shitting on you or anything, but why is it moving so slow??! i have one of these, but the long track (out of 2 skidoos & 1 Polaris) and maybe its the video, but mine seems to go a heck of alot better than that machine. i see you are almost wide open. and previous commenter is correct, anytime in doubt, make your our path over unsafe ice. DO NOT ride in others tracks, ive gotten an Arcticcat stuck that way before and it was absolutely exhausting to get unstuck. slush takesup all free space in your skidframe, and not only will your track not spin, your machine instantly wieghs an additional 200 pounds lol.. still, cool upload. thumbs up man.
