Been an ATV rider mostly looking to get into having my own snowmobile as well. Will be watching this show this year and looking at old episodes as well. Like that these are on KZbin commercial free is great! Looking forward to some upcoming episodes.

For my part, if you’re not good in mechanics go four stroke, easier to maintain and better on gaz . Without turbo…….and more reliable. Here in Québec Canada we begin to see some 4 stroke with more than 50 000k on it and still run pretty good.

Be honest about what you are going to do with your sled. If your 75% of your time on trails dont buy a mountain sled. If you need to haul wood or fishing gear every day dont buy a trail sled.

Lots of snowmobile magazines have suggested ways for Yamaha to change their line up with new features. I just bought a new Yamaha sled and have been asked to fill out a survey on the recent purchase. Why bother? Yamaha would never read them anyway. Change the instrument cluster on the Yamaha Sidewinder? Good luck on changing that...! Great job on the video Jeff and crew.

Sadly i got out of snowmobiling last year after over 45 years of sledding, snow conditions on Prince Edward Island have been so poor its just not worth while anymore

Great episode. I was at the show this year. And it wasn’t as good as it used to be. There were a lot of vendors not there. The Suzuki vendor was almost non existent. And the free style show wasn’t great. They brought the wrong ramp they said so the show was more of a bike and Harley show. It was ok but not like it was in the past. Hopefully next year will be better. If I go. I might just wait and see if it comes back to what it was.

Unfortunately. Snowmobile has become a 5% only activity. Only the top 5% earners in North America Can afford the cost of a New Snowmobile let alone those whom keep older ones. Fuel isn't cheap.. An sled sales prove that fact of decline. Now under 104 000 new units sold Between USA an Canada in 2022. Vs a peak in 1997 of 245 000 units sold. Can We say Inflation the Decline of disposable income and Tax tax tax.

They need to make the snowmobile show back into a place where you can try on and buy products. I went to the woodys booth to buy a 168 woodys triggers and angle brackets. They had nothing but pictures. Waste of time. Same with everyone else. Only royal had stuff and it was save the tax.. not worth the time.
