Was thinking back in Season 1 it would be good to see flashbacks to when the train was being built and the depart so I enjoyed this episode a lot.

So last episode ended I think 29 days after Melanie's departure with the death of all breachman except boki. We are now at 32 +days after departure, snopiercerer doesn't respond and we saw sparks flying off of big Alice. It lloked like there's something severely wrong with big Alice's wheels of something and Alex was looking disturbed so I guess shit got pretty intense on the train in the last 3 days, I'm pretty excited for the next episode to see what happened

I do not think there is something wrong with big alice. Wilford probably got snowpiercer back and does not want to let melany come back. That is why alex aplied the breaks of big alice to slow down enough (that is why the sparks)

The antenna that pick up data for the weather balloons come Crashing Down after 7 years during the time that Melanie needed it,, that didn't make no sense I mean after 7 years now all of a sudden?? Come on!

@@Chrisisi the train on the show is powered by perpetual motion in theory as long as its moving it will generate its own power, if it stops and depletes the power required to get it moving then it will never be able to start again unless pushed by another train. The movie version of the train had some sort of nuclear reactor that was never quite explained how it worked, in theory it could run on fuel rods and then convert the nuclear waste back into fuel over and over. The kronoe ( SP ) is the nuclear waste that reached the point where it can no longer be converted back into fuel.

The thing that gave me more confusion was that the breaks were on fire, was the train speeding up or breaking?

What might have happen is maybe someone or Wolford got control of the front end of the train and speed up because he does not want Melanie to get back on with the data that might show the earth is warming up. Alex or someone that have control of the back end set the breaks but they are going too fast and it blows out resulting it to catch on fire.

I think icy bob saves her.. wilford wanted him "ready" in 1 month remember.. hes had his doctors putting him through extreme cold conditioning. I think the plan was to get icy bob to finish her off, but bob has shown hes not just a mindless heartless monster.

Wow, just wow. What did we do to deserve this Melanie only episode? Man Jennifer Connelly is such a power house. I hated when she said “humankind” instead of “mankind”. It sounded so forced and took me out of the show. Can we ever leave woke politics out?

But wouldnt u need scientists, if wilfred was smart enough he would pick scientists , because u need them to build the world. someone visionary to build the snowpiercer doesn't think about scientists, I mean...they are ruining his character.

I think the thing with Wilfred is though, he doesn't care about "building the world". He decided the train is his world. That's the fundamental difference between him and Melanie.
