By the way, originally this truck had 71” mud tires as well as the stock 71” tires, but it was having collision issues with the trailers on PTS so they had to drop the mud tires to 69” to fix it.

Ahhh ok thanks for the info 👍🏻, so far I’ve been using the tyres it came with as they look pretty nice, and suit the truck. I didn’t even notice that the muds were smaller lol.

I think the map feels big cause there’s those inlets of water separating the two sides, and most of the warehouses are in far off corners. Once you get the ferry going it helps a lot, and i found it’s quicker to use the warehouses on the 2nd map rather than the ones on Duncan Bay since you can drive on main roads the whole time

I haven't explored the second map yet, but I've noticed that at least on Duncan Bay you can easily bypass the ferry and most of the broken bridges. The only challenging bit seems to be the road running down the middle of the map where that rockfall is. I did manage to winch my way around it a couple of times. It would have been a bit more challenging if they didn't offer you so many alternate ways of crossing the river. That crossing south of the ferry kind of makes it pointless in a way, unless you're driving light trucks or scout vehicles.

Yeah I think that does help, plus there’s a lot of height to the maps too which is nice. Lol yeah I’ll probably end up doing the same in that case, the gateway is pretty simple to get to

@@Adrian_Zgripcea yeah I reckon they added the shallow crossing next to the boat, incase the idea didn’t pan out, but it does make it kinda pointless I agree. But maybe they’ll add it to a future map with a bit more purpose, if people like the idea maybe?

The Kenworth 963 for sure is very good however it suffers really bad when it comes to engine torque. It shares engines with some of the strongest trucks in the game but the Kenworth is the heaviest truck in the game and u will notice the issues really quick. On its own its not that bad but the instant u put any cargo on it or try to pull anything it feels like the engine power gets cut in half even with the upgraded engine. It will get u through deep mud no problem but the moment u get into a little bumpy terrain or god forbid a slight dirt uphill the thing will jump out of High gear as if u pulled the handbrake. Being the heaviest truck in the game this truck desperatly needed a unique engine with more raw torque that could handle the weight of this truck and allow it to stay in the higher gears becouse even with those big tires even a small rock will force it back into first gear.

I drug the trailer up there and just left it because there were other missions up there that might have needed fuel, so I didn’t complete that mission🤦 Now I see we get to keep the trailer, that is the next mission I will complete!

Yeah you never know with this game whether it’ll take the trucks and trailers at the end, or not? Not a bad idea though saving the trailer for other stuff. To be fair in this case it gives you the kenworth after you refuel it, so you could do that, then put the fuel back in the scout trailer, and then recover the kenworth and it’ll get fuelled back up at the garage 👍🏻

The Kenworth can have fuel tank and high saddle together. Wish the 5600 could as well but the repair van is nice

Yeah I’m just doing a review video and I noticed the same. It’s a shame it can’t have a saddle low as then you could take the water tank, and a trailer, but there’s not as much stuff with the saddle high. Still, it’s better than not having the option at all I guess

@@itsmrlonewolf felt the same, needs a high saddle water tanker if they’re going to artificially block us like the high saddle special trailer. The 5600 needs a high saddle since it has 3 axles in the back and plenty of room. Artificial hindrance I guess

Regarding map size, there are three typical sizes, 1x1 kilometer, 1x2 km, and 2x2 km.. that is all... so those two maps are 2x2 km size.

Ahhh ok thanks man 👍🏻. This map feels even bigger but I guess it must be the amount of steep hills and mountains too, that fill the map up even more. Compared to flatter maps like the phase 8 ones

@@itsmrlonewolf you are most welcome 🐺, it's easy to measure the size, from the garage or from any truck, just mark one point to the northern map edge, it will show the distance, then delete the point and mark another point to the southern edge, the sum of the two measurements is the north/south map size, repeat the same for East/west dimension... it's a simple method and anybody can do it.

Hauled a jeep and fuel carrier with the matador up to the kenworth and it didnt count as a delivery when i drove the jeep to the spot where they wanted it delivered
