I hope this helps. If you tap the clutch button you can sometimes trick the transmission into shifting it works for downshifting and upshifting. It saves you from losing a lot of momentum.

Hey Paul, this feature carried over from mudrunner and not a lot of ppl know about it. The button you have mapped to change gears; if you tap it, your truck will pick the right gear faster than waiting on it to do it automatically. For example: if your in a high gear and hit a slow spot. Tap your "gear shift button" and your truck will downshift to the appropriate gear without stopping and starting over. Works both upshift and downshift

You can release/set the handbrake with the spacebar too, so that you don't have the overlap with the B button for the winch release, very useful when you need to attach on a hill

Seeing you guys do this mission gave me energy to do it, didn’t know you could take all three from the closest drilling site, that helped a lot. Once this mission is finished I can deliver to the port in Drummond Island, just be aware you need to repair three bridges to get to the port in Drummond Island. yea i didn't know about these drill that you can pick them up on one spot, but tbh the only harder place to get is the exact drilling site they took the containers from. Those last 2 are easy to get to

The developers need to change the one semitrailer (the green gooseneck one) to see other vehicles as cargo. Having the ability to "pack" a vehicle on that trailer would make it worth purchasing, right now it's not. Everytime I try to put a vehicle on it, I change back to the hauling truck and the "cargo" falls through the trailer 😠 so frustrating. Definitely needs to be addressed ASAP.

As a temp work around you can pull vehicles on it with your winch and they will stay on it untill you switch from the truck pulling the trailer.

well if you pick right trucks it's not painful or hard, you just have to be prepared, so I got myself 4 trucks into the island lake just to be prepared. One had saddle low for trailers, one had flatbed (these 2 trucks were the Royal BM17) and then 2 azovs, one for fuel and one for rescuying other trucks (which wasn't even needed). And I finished Michigan on 100% without any trouble

to be honest, i prefer the asov trucks, sure they need fuel (especialy the first one with the 200L fuel tank), but they have diff. lock in all gears :D

well the 1st one is beast actually. It had 350L tank and it uses mostly about 7L, the 2nd Azov on the other hand is useless. Yes, it's fast, but even without load it goes through its small 200L fuel tank like its nothing. I use it as fuel tank carrier, but mostly it refuels itself more than any other trucks

@@borecko1 Because the Royal along with the that Tuz armored vehicle thing has reduced resistances from the terrain (Don't know if there's more vehicles like this but it's very noticable on those two)

Hey, can I suggest to not cut out driving, but instead speed it up x4 or x8 :) It's all about driving through mud... mud/snow is the essence of this game :)

It is a shame they didn't bother to go for that final, very accessible, watch tower, which would have revealed the Western Star Twinsteer truck that is especially suited to the mission they did in this video without any modifications or trailers needed. Though something tells me they wouldn't have used it anyways as they don't seem interested in using anything but the Paystar truck they all have. Personally I enjoy trying out every different findable truck I come across for the sake of diversity.

the problem with other vehicles is that they always have some problems. I use 2 types of trucks (Royal and Azov) and I don't think I'm gonna change those. Trucks that are really good are locked and you need lvl 20 or even more, and the rest isn't that great.

i really do love the depth of this game theirs so much to do but the mud physics are not what they used to be, this game is so easy compared to the mud you can find in mud runner not neat the quality of physics i also miss little things like the oil in the water as you drive through it
