The Royal was an absolute beast at the point you first get it in campaign. I used the heck out of it for a long time. And the Azov is a decent dedicated crane truck, because of how low and stable it is. I quickly replaced it with the DAN that looks similar, though.

I honestly love the capability of the Royal BM17, plus the DIF, and AWD mod is so nice because the BM17 is even more fun with DIF and 64000 repair and fuel points.

the only thing i hated about the royal is the bounce with the lift its like holy shit just stop bouncing so i can drive it was almost as if shocks didn't exist just springs

The truck that got me through the Yukon before mods were available on consoles was the Azov 73210. All the other trucks would flip going up to build the huge mining or sawmill thing. The low center of gravity physics were definitely in play for this truck. The rear steer is absolutely freaking amazing. A ton of people just don’t know how to use the Azov 73210. The overhang didn’t actually get in the way at all except for ONE spot in the whole game, the ONLY downside. Every other truck in the whole game has MULTIPLE downsides. Its a shame too many people have overhangphobia.

I agree. With the 73210 i find if you angle the front end into low spots and dips its quite manageable.

@TC9700Gaming The devs did adjust the CDT of the Azov 73210's front end during a phase patch. P.S. Those tires are a new edition from Phase 8 and are available on multiple trucks.

The Azov in this list it’s actually pretty useful now the active suspension it was given in Phase 4 made the ground clearance better I still consider using it

The 73210 is about the only truck that can handle deep snow as well as the Tatrain, and is super stable. I can get the 73210 into places on the Kola maps that the KRS (which is also fast on snow) couldn't get near without flipping over. Of course the Tayga is a rock crawling beast, but doesn't quite have the traction of the 73210

Before the fixes the 73210 was barely used. After the fixes, it's basically the truck that if Snowrunner said "You can only have 1 truck", this would be that truck. Many people have jumped back on board with it. Seen a lot of people who have it on their favourite truck lists.

The Azov 73210 is pretty much my default truck, I use it for about everything. As long as you have the ground clearance it will get you through about anything

I used all trucks at one point at least but I can agree with you except the Azov 10x10. It was my backbone of Imandra and Amur basically hold down the w key and then wait until you get there. Its the best Crane truck in my opinion. The Royal, back in the day when the game was brand new, it was my most used truck because it's fast and has huge tires. Its such a shame it doesn't have diff lock. Hopefully they add it at some point. It still does okay without but with that one mod that adds it it can rival Russian trucks. The Sprinter is definitely the most useless of them all because while the CLT and Transtar can haul cargo, that thing can't it was a bit of fun racing it in Tennessee but that's it. Also the mudtires for the Azov are new that will come with the new phase 8 update. There are three new mudtires that will come with the new update.

I feel like alot of ppl missed out on the fleetstar which I found quite capable for the early games. As soon as ppl got their hands on the kodiak they sold or forgot about the little fleetstar.

I used the hell out of the Royal BM17. The cab overs I bought and built but I don't use as they're not very capable off road and that's what 90% of this game involves. I have not made it very far into the game, but the AZOV race truck will definitely be on my list for a full size scout in the future because that thing looks very capable of tackling terrain the small scouts would struggle with.

I pretty much solely used the 73210 for my whole playthrough once I unlocked it, it made things so easy, it was a huge surprise. I really wish someone would make a good mod for it.

@TC9700Gaming, instead of putting a saddle on your truck in the garage when you go to the trailer store it will put on the correct saddle when selecting the trailer you want, in my opion the Ford CLT9000 is one of my favorite looking base game truck

BM17 is my favorite truck in this game. I do almost all of the job with that. I think it is very good truck with offroad tires, it has very good power with upgraded engine, very good overall capability and works well without differential lock too. Of course, the extended winch helps a lot sometimes if stucked in a deep mud or water :) My second favourite truck is the Paystar 5070 with normal suspension (with higher suspension little bit instable if packed). I think it is cheap and good rescure and light truck for easier jobs.

Idk if this vid is outdated or whatever, but Azov 73210 is the best truck in the game (besides the Ziks which is a late game truck and needs a lot of effort to get). The overhang is not an issue 95% of the time. I love to overload Azov on its cabin, which can fit 2 or 3 additional cargo pieces. Yesterday I took 4 x metal beams + 6 x concrete blocks in one go, using standard flatbed + crane combination.

There are a lot of trucks I don't use. If I have any amount of issues (like the tata you were given and rolling over) I just sell them. that said I did use the BM cause load it down and the back wheels would just grip.

I'm sticking with not having diff lock and mud tires for every truck in the game as a dumb developer choice. Diff locks are easy to install in just about everything with a diff and mud tires fit on standard rims. No 6x6 on the cab over Ford and International makes a bit of sense because they would be very tippy. 22.5 rims are pretty much the commercial truck standard and they make plenty of tire options for them. Also tire chains not helping in mud is as annoying as the lack of diff lock everything.

The 4070A and Royal as well as CLT9000 really need a better weight distribution. As the hollow cabins are way too heavy in design, so you have the the highway trucks a lot of weight pushing the front axle down creating drag - and the rear lacking mass but causing less "push" than it should deliver. Same by the way with the P16 and a "15t Cabin" on its front axle.

I make it a point to use all trucks I possibly can. To the point that in my most recent run, I'm actually unlocking and buying them all and doing the bare minimum in terms of jobs, so that I can get use from all of them everywhere I can. It is very tedious, and unlocking the Tayga 6455b is almost not worth it, with everything that must be done to get it.

Honestly, I’ve always loved and used the Royal - such a good looking truck and has got me out of a lot of sticky situations in the vanilla game, it too has also gotten me into many more sticky situations as it isn’t very stable when lifted 😅 a fun truck to use!

73210 is literally the best stock truck in the game. It is of the most stable versatile and powerful truck in the game. I only use it in extreme conditions because it makes the game very easy.

When I first got the BM17 I used it as a heavy crane truck since it didn’t have a diff lock, and I felt like it wouldn’t be very good at towing trailers. The CLT9000 and Transtar look cool but no AWD or diff lock = useless in this game. I was using the CLT just last night and even with it fully built I could take the stock C/K 1500 into messier spots.

I dunno, I say the Azov that only has a 200L fuel tank and no roof racks gets less overall use then the 10X10 Azov. I actually see the 10X10 Avov around in online from time to time, especially in Kola or Amur, it's actually way better in those maps then Taymir. But the 200L Azov, I never see anybody using that thing. Funny thing with the 10X10 Azov is that the only thing that really hurts it is ruts. Mud, it doesn't care. Rocks are surprisingly not a issue despite it's overhang as it's bumper tends to just scrape along and slide up over rocks. But ruts, it doesn't like ruts. This is why the 10X10 isn't great for Taymir, because Taymir is full of ruts that'll constantly hang the 10X10 up. But Kola and Amur, ruts really aren't that much of issue there and as a result the 10X10 is a pretty beastly truck to take out there.

Azov 73210 is great still. I don't care about that ground clearance and overhang. It can still cross out that small lake near the broken bridge in Maine. Good offroading capabilities even with allterrain default tires. I added a snorkel for the lake i crossed.

I actually DO use the Ford CLT9000, its just so useful with heavy loads and stuff, but of course it needs a LOT of 2nd vehicle winching
