Snow runner is definitely a improvement..... but something about the handling physics still seems off like the steering and over steer feel slow and lacks fish tailing and tire spin in loose dirt

The problem with both games is they don't or can't factor in flotation. Monster Max with duels should never sink axle deep into any mud, and should float in water no matter how deep it gets. Bob Chandler raced a paddle boat on the Mississippi back in the 80s with dual monster truck tires on Bigfoot. Really any truck lighter than the 750 or Loadstar 1700 with wide mud tires should stay on top of the mud better than they do. But I suppose that is part of balancing realism and making the game a challenge.

I played Spintires and went to Snowrunner, completely forgetting the existence of Mudrunner. I always thought Mudrunner was Spintires lol

I will admit they did update the mud physics and they really improved the gearboxes for the trucks in snowrunner as well they give you more then one engine and transmission etc. For upgrades sure you may suck down more fuel in snowrunner with upgrades but in all honesty trust me those upgrades can save your behind more then once in the game. And one other thing that is better in snowrunner the engine startups are quick compared to mudrunner where you gotta wait like 5 mins. Also mudrunner has kinda like this mucky gloomy look where as snowrunner it changed to reflect weather way way better.

I've seen some mudrunner gameplay on the internet but i haven't played it and i must say that snowrunner is much more readable for a player that is new to these games like me. Also i've played spintires when it was on sale and i didn't have money to buy snowrunner and i didn't know what i was doing/supposed to do xD so i was just driving around the map, jumping into new discovered trucks to once again drive around the map xDDD but it still was a lot of fun tho.

Snowrunner feels lethargic to me. The trucks don't rev up and throw rooster tails. Acceleration is non existent. Graphics look way better though. Doesn't feel as gloomy.

See with snowrunner and mudrunner mudrunner mud in my opinion has much better physics however the grip and the change from thin to thick mud is janky however in snow runner you dont really get that super deep mud like you do in mudrunner on the bog id love to seem them add real deep mud not shallow mud yeah the mud isnt that shallow but i mean it should depend on the trucks weight like how it does is mudrunner the heavier the further you sink aswell as tire size

So the in-game add-on prices for modded trucks are actually up to the creator. Most mod creators usually make the equipment pretty cheap though :)
