Loved this video especially since my gracious neighbor plowed our driveway and even shoveled where necessary. He is in his late thirties and thinks me, being 82, is too old to be out there doing that. Bless his dear heart. Also loved your "groundhog fake news". Needed a good laugh during these unbelievable "news craziness" times. God Bless you all.

Pete that was great! I laughed so hard the cat came to see what was wrong. We don’t get much snow here in the south - an inch shuts everything down -so I loved seeing your awesome snow, but the music made the video. And your snow Angel at the end (kind of a dead snow Angel?) capped it all. Can’t wait to see how all the animals are faring.

You were having wayyyyy too much fun there Pete!! 🤣. At home we had a Farmall Super C tricycle front with a mounted 8 ft. Pickup snow blade on it. Believe me, deep snow would definitely make the ole Super C snort! Good memories from 40 plus years ago.

My dad had a Farmall Super C with a 2-point hitch blade. He was very gifted at plowing snow and creating sledding hills for his children. He also would clean all the neighbors' driveways. I wish I had that tractor today.

A Long time ago I lived in snow country in Sierra Mountains between California and Nevada, right near Lake Tahoe. Beautiful four season territory. I worked in Reno, Nevada. Commute every day. Although roads were plowed during the winter 🥶 i stilled shoveled my own driveway. Now live by Houston, TX. No snow but very hot 🥵 summers. I do miss the mountains and beautiful Lake Tahoe. I have lots of respect for you Northeners dealing with 'Real Snow Storms' every year!!! My Great Great Grandparents were from Maine in the Early 1800's. I like to think I iheritated their heartiness and strong work ethic they needed to survive this type of winters! They traded your winters for life as Texas pioneeer farmers and ranchers enduring The wrath of Texas' bare prairies and scorching heat in the summers. Pete, love the way the old tractor pushes snow. Got all these guys with big 4WD, large HP trucks and cab controlled plows can't do it any better. People forget how we did things years ago with small hp tractors. I live in suburbia with just an acre of property but I have 3 Wheel Horse Garden tractors the youngest is 35 years old. One for plowing, one for mowing and one with a "bucket". They are not farm tractors but I've moved a lot of snow, gravel and top soil over the years. A 75 year old farmer at heart!

EXCELLENT EDITING AWARD!! We loved this!! Even my husband smiled and he grew up in Milwaukee!! He said snow clearing has to have the right attitude. Enjoy over there - you have such a great attitude - AND you are in that fresh air - we are envious of that. Envious from SoCal, for the fresh air, but it is going to be in the low 80s tomorrow...... As a kid I grew up in the country outside of Grand Rapids. Michigan. I thought lots of snow was great, but not so much for my dad who had to deal with it. Eventually in the late 80's we packed up and moved to central Florida, which is where I still live today. It would be really hard for me to go back up north now, haha.

I totally loved this!!! Reminded me of my daughter's grandpa and his old Farmall tractor , lots of bad memories also before I got 4 wheel drive lol. Their driveway was very steep and I hated to be 1 of the few that would have to ask the guys to drive my car up the drive and across to greatgrandpas drive to I could leave. They made such fun of me

Love your videos as always, been there done that with a grader blade a time or two. I especially like you using the older tractors, that you can rebuild time and again and keep them going, what all the small farmers in my neck of the woods did and still do. The ones that their sons bought the farm, went out and bought all new equipment, Tractors with AC cabs and so on, have all went belly up in a few years. They would have done well to learn from their parents.

My symphony was dad, who cursed with every shovel of snow. (Always used a grain shovel) Pushing was verboten, that was the "easy way". Our whole neighborhood was a symphony of shoveling...mom loved it, she got the house in peace!

Great vid Pete! Brought back a flood of great childhood memories. We had a small Simplicity 700 Wonder Boy. I learned that machine inside and out. Taught myself how to trim the lawn. We don't need no stinkin' weed whacker! They weren't even around back then. The plow was manual turn. Had to get off then turn the plow and reinsert the pin. I'll tell you. Now that I'm retired in FL., I like watching plowing vids. Especially the part where you steer right and the tractor just goes straight. I'm still laughing at that one. Thanks again Pete.
