Snowstorm Camping with my Dog

I head out winter camping in the first big snowstorm of the year with my dog Lucy. We navigate through the woods to a perfect sheltered spot next to a creek. I set up a tarp for the two of us and we spend the night winter camping in the snowstorm.

I'm the exact same way whenever they talk about some big "scary" snow storm on the news, I just can't wait to get out in it. Lucy is so calm wow. My 1.5 yr old pupling still has zero chill lol... Fantastic runner though she's gonna run real far when she's 2.

This winter has been pretty weak. Warm temps and not much snow. I'm thankful every time we get a snowstorm. Sounds like your pup's ready to work that's awesome!

@@AleconAdventures yep I'm gonna have her start dragging a water bottle behind her soon. Crappy winter in NS too, lots of rain, lots of ice, but we got a couple good ski trips in so far.

We have a ruffwear pack too, my girl carries her inflatable pad, sleeping bag, jacket, dinner bowl and towel. She’s 20kgs and it’s about 2kgs in total, hates putting it on but fine after a few mins, enjoyed the video thanks 🙏

Alec & Lucy make a good pair they both enjoy the outdoors. Camping trip is done back home to visit Paige until the next adventure. Good video thank you.

It's fun camping alone with Lucy. I have to keep an eye on her and carry some extra weight but I enjoy her company. 😊

Thanks, it's still a work in progress. Lucy's in her teenage stage and she can be challenging but our training persists.
