Visited several times, but last time was 1995. Took hundred of photos over the years. Looks like the gift shop and tea room have been greatly expanded, but the rest of the gardens seem to have the same lay-out. Beautiful place... to think it was built out of the remains of an old stone quarry is amazing. For Jennie Butchart it was a labour of love. Check out the history of this wonderland on Wikipedia.

I have not visited the gardens in decades and this is the first time seeing the christmas lighting theme for me. The creativity that went in to this with the music is a cut above other displays I have seen elsewhere. There are some things I miss about BC besdies the hot springs soaks.
