Snowy Night Street Photography POV | Canon 600D & 50mm f1.8

Is the canon 600D good for night street photography? I head to Newcastle, with the 600D & Canon 50mm f1.8 stm, on a snowy night to find out. Some comparisons to the canon 250D made at the end.

Smashed it Kieran. Some bangers here - but 4:02 and 6:10 were my faves. The sleety snow adds great texture to these images.Also liked the creativity of the one at 6:48. Some wise words at the end there too. Great stuff mate. 🙂

Thanks Adrian! Yeah really enjoyed shooting in the snow and the results it got. I'll definitely be heading out next time it's forecast. Yeah, but it's cold and miserable here most the time, whereas you're always get bright sunny days with lovely sunrises! Cheers for watching mate 💪🏼

1600 iso A F2.8-3.5 shutter not sure I see motion blur so maybe 1/50 or 1/30?

Another camera which is pretty good for cheap is the canon 70d which I bought second hand for 300 but u can get them cheaper with a bit of wear and tear. I use the 50mm 1.8 just like u that I got 2nd hand for 90 quid. Great bit of kit. Also merry christmas

Hey up mate. Sorry, I don't have the EXIF data for any of these images anymore. All images are edited. Keep your eyes peeled as may head out over the weekend and get a video together with all the EXIF data 👍🏼

@@AIDahlDK I can see why people would like shooting in AV, but for me I like to be in control of everything. Shutter speed to be sure of no blur and ISO so I don't get too much noise. I kept at f/1.8 through out but changed the other 2 settings constantly depending on the scene. I'd say that's only so important because it was a night shoot. Wouldn't have to worry about the other 2 factors during a day shoot!

Hey mate. Usually iso 800, 1/50 or higher shutter speed, f/1.8.
