Thanks for the excellent review. I’m looking for a good chassis base for Onroad VTA class (asphalt track). Would the R3 G be good? It’s significantly cheaper than the R3 pro.

I just got an R3 Pro and noticed the click noise by the spur gear as well. Did you figure out what that’s from?
@cndhobbies52202 жыл бұрын
No I haven't figure out what causes that click. I had tried the method of opening up the hole on the pulley but that did nothing. I can't think of what would cause it as its more then a noise, I can feel the bump when it makes the noise

@@cndhobbies5220 ok thanks I noticed the same. I may try switching out the spur gear altogether and see if that does anything.
@cndhobbies52202 жыл бұрын
@Brian Ladley nah it doesn't. I had switched my spur to run usgt and vta racing. I'm not sure if its cause belt has a bend or fold which causes a change in tension

@@cndhobbies5220 ok thanks. Yeah I’ll have to work on figuring it out. Otherwise I absolutely love the kit!

Any solution for the klick noise? Same here on the R3G.

Kinda bummed since I just got the tt02srx. 360 cad all said and done. Could have gone with the r3 pro and would smoke mines out of the box lol

Hi just ordered snrc R2-g 139$ can 161$ with the body .Right now it comes with carbon fiber upgrade .Do you think the belts will hold up to castle sidewinder 4 and 5700 kv motor.Not for racing just road running .Small town no racing . I have seen 4 car in town all ours,
@cndhobbies5220 Жыл бұрын
If its the base r2-g, I dont think it's carbon fiber but fiberglass dressed up to look like a carbon weave. I think the belts will hold up as the belts I believe are the same used on the base model to the top model. I do think however the stock steel cvd axles will not hold up or the steel outdrives on the diff/front spool. I think the r3g would have been a better option as the belt is shorter (and same front and back). Being shorter would have less up and down movement, less likely to hit the top deck or skip a tooth on the pulleys

Thank you It is on AliExpress sale till end of feb Yes the long belt could be a problem.Says carbon fiber '@@cndhobbies5220

Just cancelled and ordered r3g. What body do you use thank you.
@cndhobbies5220 Жыл бұрын
@Ben Abnjm it says carbon fiber but could be somewhat lost in translation. I have the shock tower parts to use elsewhere but I can assure you it's not carbon fiber. For the price of the kit, no way it have actual carbon fiber
@cndhobbies5220 Жыл бұрын
@@benabnjm4828 I would look for something that is a wedge shape, that the body acts as one big wing to keep the car down to the ground. Look up speed run rc cars to get an idea what to look for

The version R3 C- V2 is better than R3 G ?
@cndhobbies52208 ай бұрын
The r3c would be the carbon version, but I don't think it's worth buying the r3c over the r3g. If anything get the r3 pro. The r3 pro has all the upgrades you want and more. The carbon is the exact same as the r3g other then having carbon instead of fiber glass

the prices of the basic SN-RCs make a Tamiya TT-01 Look Stupidly expensive. and from some videos of these Cars running on the track they seem to perform well for a club racer or someone new to the Hobby.
