Fans are blessed and then cursed. It's a cycle, you see. Sort of like, 'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.' The best of times because there's magic here. But this magic, it comes with an expiration date, doesn't it? That's the cursed part. The 9 work in a business, a harsh business and someday their replacements will debut, new girls who will become even bigger than the 9 ever were. Though those are awfully large high heels to fill. We can only keep mementos of their years with us, as they marry or take on other professions. Actress, soloist, model, diplomat, housewife. Who knows. Not even they do. But it isn't for us to wish them still. We can't do that. We can't expect them to always be ours. Our memories of them, the jpeg's, the gif's, the mov's and avi's, sure. KZbin will be a collective consciousness for us to point at to our nieces and nephews and children. "Ugh. That's so OLD fashioned! How could you LIKE that?" "SHUTUP, CHILD. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Yes. That'll be us. Hard work, luck, timing, the support of dozens in their company and other companies, the support of their fandom and the creativity of hundreds of others around the world have given them this chance. Magic indeed, magical to such an extravagant degree as to be unbelievable. But they did this. They have made it their own. With sweat and tears and years of grueling schedules. KPop wouldn't be where it is without them. Realise this. Every day they have together is one day closer to the end. We can't stop time, no matter how we'd like to deny that. But there ARE timeless moments, moments that can become timeless memories. Their start poses, before the music, before the dance, when they look at each other, focused; waiting as we are waiting for the music to breathe them into life and motion and the moments into memories. Jessica was ready to launch her fashion career & SM supported it. They were even allowing her to continue with SNSD. The members were ok with it too...but some of their parents weren't. Idol's parents apparently have a large influence on group activities & solo careers as well, so they complained about it. Divine was written as Jessica's hiatus song. She was gonna take time off while her company launched, but then she backed out of that shortly before the song released. The members weren't happy with Jessica being all wishy-washy, so they basically "forced" her out. The meet-&-greet Jessica says she was no longer able to attend happened because some of the members told her that if she attended it, they wouldn't show up. They weren't trying to kick her out, they just wanted her to make a decisive decision, & her waffling between fashion & music was really getting to them, so they forced her to make a decision. Was it in the best way it could've gone, no. I read all this in an article- I'll have to find it & link it.

They were the ones who started everything. If it wasn’t for them we would have all the groups we adore now, twice, nct, etc. Like sooyoung said, GG was like their hometown. They’ve been with eachother since elementary. They stayed together for 10 years 😌.And they never thought of disbanding too. They don’t even call themselves best friends. I come back to watch this whenever I feel down. Suffering from depression, these 9 women help me get through it. Oddly enough, just seeing them puts a smile on my face instantly. There maybe new girlgroups popping up here and there. But none will be like SNSD. There is no "next Girls' Generation". These women are legends and an inspiration to a lot of us. The reason why I could wake up in the morning and continue with life with a smile on face. They will always hold a special place in my heart till the end of time. I've been a fan since 2009, then I suddenly stopped being into kpop so much in 2011 but I'm glad I've found my way home again, my home, SNSD. I never regretted watching the first SNSD MV I saw in KZbin, GEE. I never regret stanning this beautiful souls. This video just proves what is and who is the KOREAN NATION'S GIRL GROUP. Their hardship and hardwork in everything they do.. when they were bashed before and just after their debut, even experienced a black ocean, they still didn't give up showing their best for their fans. Even if boy groups are more common, they still conquered Korea and later the World with their wit, charms and talents, showing what girls can also show, giving way to girl groups, giving way to the rise of GIRLS' GENERATION just like their name. And the tragic 093014, when a member left not so beautifully. Yet, they stayed strong even if people bashed them for non-factual rumors of them kicking their own member, even if their own fans doubt them. That's why I can never really understand how people can hate these wonderful human beings. I'm just glad they withstood all those problems and challenges TOGETHER for the last 10 years. Staying true to our chant.. right now, SNSD, in the future SNSD, forever SNSD. And we SONEs will always be here for them now, always and forever.

Groups have ups and downs and i'm sure time will come that they will be all ok with each other again. That someday they will tell us what really happened. The way SNSD never stops developing really encourages us to stay strong no matter what happens. It's really horrible to mention the black ocean again, but they managed to get over it, and became one of the most legendary groups ever. 10 years passed. We're getting older and more mature. So are our girls. They're women's generation now. Everything will come to an end, not except for our 9 beloved girls. vasilia s i honestly don't know the whole story, not even sure if what i know is the truth, she got kicked out of the group because of her lack of time participating in group activities such as practices and fan meeting, she got busy because of her newly launched business that time, then some says that she was already planning to leave the group in a good term but things went south and so she got kicked out, jessica said in her weibo acct that the group memebers asked her to leave the group, the other 8 members never said anything about it though keeping mum about it. I honestly don't know the truth, all i know where the ones i read om twitter and the statement that was released by sm and jessica weibo acct post.
