This was the best line distribution they’ve had their entire careers! Of course, it’s because it’s their debut song and SM wants to show all the colors of the group! Yes, these were the days when it was well defined who the main singers were, the leads, and subs. Taeyeon and Jessica had the most lines, Seohyun followed close behind, and Tiffany and Sunny has established lead vocals. At the time Tiffany wasn’t as fluent in Korean and her vocals weren’t as strong, but she’s improved tremendously now. She used to mainly support the sub-vocals along with Sunny. She still can’t support high notes that well but she’s definitely improved. Jessica is no longer apart of SNSD, for the moment, so of course Tiffany would have to step up some. They all try their best to get lines! The sub-vocalists will not get that many lines even though they’ve improved a lot also, that’s why I think SM should’ve created a subunit where they could show their talents more as well!

I was stifling a laugh when I saw the comments on You Think and Mr Mr. Everyone seemed so angry at Tiffany. She only got many lines after The Boys era, y'all. She only had 1 line in here, 3 lines at Day by Day (sung by the five vocalists), 2 lines at Time Machine, 2 lines at Genie, 1 line at Gee (these are the parts I only remember). I do understand that the dancing line gets less parts because their voice is a little weak compared to the others (since I'm a Yuri biased) but if she gets lesser line, that would be a shocker. Of course, others wouldn't notice that she had few lines back then, because they only focused on the present. I may not know how hard it must've been for her, but she did come a long way.
