1. Taeyeon 2. Jessica (I know people complain about her voice, but having a pleasant/unpleasant voice and being a good/bad vocalist isn't the same, people. Just because you might not like the sound of Jessica's voice, it doesn't change the fact that she's stronger than Seohyun and Tiffany when it comes to technique.) 3. Seo/Tiff - I think they're pretty neck to neck. Seo has more control and consistency during lives, but Tiffany is better at emoting.

Not sure about that. She improved so much since their debut (she is the one who improved the most). It's just that SM is making her sing too high parts even though she has a low voice. I like her voice.

My personal rank (and opinion) in 2019: Taeyeon (she’s just a vocal goddess and one of [if not the best] vocalist of this generation); Jessica (the most unique voice in snsd, so sweet to listen to but also able to hit high notes. My personal favorite and rarely did wrong in live performances); Seohyun (amazing vocal technique but I feel like SM didn’t let her do what she could); Tiffany (it’s known that she always had trouble in her early years regarding her vocal techniques and abilities, but she was able to evolve as a vocalist and did a good job in what SM asked her to do. Unfortunately we can’t say the same about her live performances); Sunny (I like her voice, but just like Seohyun, SM didn’t let her do what she could. The few performances she did where she was able to shine were great); Yuri (I always had a love/hate relation with Yuri’ vocals. I think her tone is beautiful but she was always seen more as a dancer than an actual singer, not being able to do what she could. And her live performances were always off); Hyoyeon (I always loved her voice, so sweet and angelic. The few lines she had as a vocalist were always great and well performed. Unfortunately she didn’t have much to prove herself to the public, to the point where I believe she never took herself serious as a singer, but she had great potential. Of course I prefer her as a vocalist than as a “rapper”); Sooyoung (although she was always put above Hyoyeon, I never agreed on that. For me, she only had a few good performances in early snsd and that’s it. Sure she’s able to hit high notes but her poor technique even nowadays don’t let her to); Yoona (I never saw Yoona as a singer, more like an aspirant. She was there cause of her beauty and dancing skills, not much more than that. Even Sooyoung had greater potential).

FYI: Seohyun hasnt breath control problem. that's a vocal character. its normal for human. if u dont believe, search 'Rossa' Indonesian Singer / Diva from Indonesia. She's vocal character like Seohyun. Search 'Rossa - Kini' for example.

SM has given Hyoyeon some belted notes in a few songs (something they would never give to Yoona), I think Yoona's voice is not as good as hers, hence I doubt this vocal ranking is even true or confirmed by SM. Besides, Yuri has better control than Sooyoung, plus Sooyoung was taught to sing for Japanese industry since she debuted in Japan, and techniques here and there are quit different. Yuri has always been number 6.

for me: 1st-taeyeon- the leader with her power of vocal. 2nd-jessica- 2nd vocalist with her delicate, soft,sweet and unique vocal. i love her high note. 3rd-seobaby-maknae,3rd vocalist with her harmonize vocal. 4th-tiffany- eyesmiling,4th vocalist with her husky vocal. but sometimes her vocal too louder make listener is unpleasant. 5th- aegyo, vocalist with her light vocal. but, i thing make me upset is why jessica as a 2nd vocalist is not selected in sub unit tts? I think Yoona should be behind Hyoyeon. Yoona slips up in live performances more, plus her voice is the weakest and she goes flat/sharp more than half of the times(even in the video itself 1:34). Hyoyeon is also inconsistent but her voice has a bit more control.

Igat Kent I have seen Jessica preform live(shes one of my bias along side Sooyoung and Hyoyeon), she does a good job, but I find Tiffany better in my own opinion. I also think that TTS has the best vocals in the groups and people should credit Fany a bit more. I think people underestimate her a bit because she isn't that good with high notes. :/ Either way I respect your opinion ^^

just rank 1.taeyeon(stable with excellent control,wide range,strongest high note,may a little bit off in high notes esp in really high rank(E5-F#5) 2.jessica(stable,high ptich voice with excellent control,wide range,the best ad libs and uses of falsetto,sometime sounds nasal in hitting high note 3.seohyun( good control , soft and low voice, good uses of ad libs , can hit high note but not really stable, breathing problem in singing) 4.sunny( acceptable control, good uses of falsetto,high-pitch voice but sounds very thin in high note) 5.tiffany(bad control , singing sounds like shouting in very single word, it's too loud esp in ballads, deep voice with thin vocal range, low notes sound good but high note is terrible,always screaming ,off-key or turn it in to falsetto in a strange and terrible way)

I actually think Yoona is better than Hyoyeon, listen, this time, I'm not biased. Hyo's voice is deep, when she sings, it's deep and don't sound too good, but her deep voice is suitable for rapping, not singing. While Yoona's voice can be sweet and soft and sometimes, deep, thick.

Ophelia Ho actually yoona is my favourite but i have to say hyoyeon has a more stable and stronger voice than yoona. not saying that yoona cant sing, because if she couldnt she wouldnt be in snsd. just saying that hyoyeon is just better than yoona. i also think sooyoung doesnt have a stable voice but she really hits the high notes really easy and it also sounds really good and yuri has an stable voice and can really hit those high notes easy too

Yonna tiene una voz estable al igual que hyoyeon pero hyo es un poco mejor la voz de yonna es muy suave en cambio la voz de hyo es un poco suave pero muy fuerte a la busca la cancion que canta con yuri y soleado(Sunny) aqui se puede escuhar su voz como realmente es! Esa es mi opinion claro tampoco soy profesional solo lo digo porque asi me parece. :D

I really like Hyoyeon's voice a lot, I think it's got a different sound and when she's singing in a comfortable style she sounds really good. Of course she doesn't have the best voice in SNSD but it's not the worst either. My ranking is more like 1. Taeyeon (beautiful), 2. Jessica (I really started to respect her vocals more, she really is 2nd place), 3. Seohyun 4. I'm tempted to say Sunny. Or Tiffany 5. Tiffany or Sunny 6. Sooyoung 7. Honestly, Hyoyeon or Yuri 8. Hyoyeon or Yuri 9. YoonA (I like her but her level is still not above the others, it doesn't mean she sounds bad though)

Taeyeons voice is so imprresive ♥♡♥♡ shes in the top 5 for best female kpop singers ^^ her singing definitely makes her stand out from the other members ^^

ok this is my top: 1) Taeyeon of course 2) Tiffany 3) Jessica 4) Seohyun 5) Sunny 6) Yuri 7) Sooyoung 8) Hyoyeon 9) Yoona I love Girls' Generation, but Yonna can't sing, sorry is the truth. She is famous because she is the visual and she can act. Tiffany has a beautiful voice, that's why i put her in second place, Jessica sings very very well, but i think her voice is just technical. Taeyeon was born talented. No comments of she. Her high notes are to die for. It's my opinion.

It's hard to say who is better when it comes to hyoyeon has yoona cuz hyoyeon has a wider range than yoona but sometimes her voice is really pleasing while yoona has a weaker voice and doesn't have a wide range, anyways I still love both very much and they have improved so much!!
