SNSD's upcoming 10th year anniversary will be bittersweet for Sones. Although we will be happy to celebrate 10 years with our beautiful girls, one amazing girl will be missing and she was, and will always be, part of what made SNSD's legacy. It's not completely certain until it's confirmed, but that's what has been circulating. SNSD's official debut date was August 3, 2007 and fans think they will comeback at or around their anniversary day. Also, Sooyoung said they would be coming back in the second half of the year. Some sources say the end of July though, so it's somewhere in that time frame. :)

Out of all the other girl/boy groups that had their members departed, Jessica's was the most painful one for me and truth be told, the most painful one to any SONE. I grew up listening to SNSD, main reason why I enjoy K-pop is SNSD. To all you other fandom, please don't compare any of your favorite groups with SNSD. Each groups are set to to create their own path, their own HISTORY. Comparing their hard work to any group is disrespectful for me, ex 'she/he dance better then him/her', 'they sang much better than them', 'they're just cute, no talent like the others'....why do we need those awful comments, if you're bringing some other group down, you're literally bringing down your fav group too. It could have been! They issued a beautiful anniversary CD, but SM cut their celebration short. Fortunately, their CD was so good that they triumphed over that handicap just like they overcame the departure of Jessica (and we still don't really know why that happened… I don't believe what Jessica said about the other eight voting her out, nor do I believe what SM has said about it being caused by a conflict between SNSD's schedules and her fashion business… since when has a business allowed people under contract to make business decisions? And I sure never saw any shows that Jessica missed before her departure). And I don't believe the other eight have been allowed to say anything definitive about the subject. If they voted her out, why did they cry when she DID miss their next big concert?

SNSD will always, forever be the Queens, the Nation's Girl Group, the LEGENDS even after Jessica departure, even after Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun leaving the label, even after they disband. We all know that our girls are all grown up woman now. We've been with them for the past 10 years now. Sure, there are some groups that would surpass them now in the charts music shows, or whatever. But we all knew who started it right? The time when KPOP is being dominated by boy groups, our girls stand by their own and made history. Them, who experienced so many hardships together just to be known and be respected artist. Remember Girls go to School? We witnessed everything that they've been through to be here. Really, the statement "As expected, it's Girls Generation" is really hard to achieve. But they manage to do so. So many struggles, but right now, even after 10 years they are still here. Remember when the teenager Taeyeon shouted that she can do it? Well she really did it. When Miyoung who doesn't know much about Korea went all independent just to fulfill her dream. When Sooyoung who is a rich kid chooses to give up her freedom just to be an idol. When Yuri and Hyoyeon who just in their very young age started their training just to what they are now. Whne Sunny, who can just use her uncle's power to promote herself but stay with the girls. Our juhyun who doesn't gave up on studies despite people telling her that she should just be an idol. Our Sooyeon who looks so cold outside, but is really warm with the girls. And of course, Our Yoona, the center for the group stood still for her members. Sure, after the department of our beloved Jessica, things have became a lot difficult for all the girls. But always remember that the SNSD that stood in front of us 10 years ago, and the SNSD now us still the same if us, SONES would just stay by their sides. The girls never got it easy. Please do put in our minds. #OT9 or #OT8 or whatever. Their still my girls. Group activities or solo. They would always be our Girl's Generation. Right now. Tomorrow. Forever.
