If you were to ask him how blessed he feels, I guarantee he'll reply just blessed to still be alive and breathing. MS is just an awful illness, it is categorised as dementure
@JaneH-rj9jtАй бұрын
@nickfeeee what? That's a load of crap! I was diagnosed with MS nearly 24 years ago and am now in secondary progressive, and never has dementia been mentioned. MS is where the coating of myelin on the nerves of the brain is worn away and you have lesions on the brain..basically if you imagine a lead on an electrical appliance and the outer coating wears away you have exposed wires and if they touch they cause a short..well that's what happens in the brain sending wrong signals to the body hence causing disability, if you have relapse and remit these disabilities usually last for awhile then get better, secondary progressive you are usually stuck with them and primary you lose control of most of your body and please God I never want to get there.
@TakeTheRideАй бұрын
@@JaneH-rj9jtwell, step outside yourself to see that not everyone is as fortunate as you are. I had a sweet loving uncle that got MS and within two years he died. I don’t know much more than that. But I will say that it’s not for me to judge as I’ve not walked in their shoes. She goes everyday, he spends most days at home. My husband and I are in our 60’s and have some health issues. When you’ve been married for awhile and love your spouse AND honor your vows before God, then it’s a no brainer to do all your can for your spouse. She hasn’t gone anywhere. He did. @bernadettecartinАй бұрын
@@manuelochoa9266If you read the comments you will learn more from the people who've been following this for a while. These videos just popped up in my feed recently, so I am learning too. He has progressive MS and is in assisted living, because being at home is often too overwhelming. So his wife makes the best of the good days, like this one obviously was, by doing whatever activities he's able to.
@francineherron1940Ай бұрын
@@manuelochoa9266so you believe that once you're spouse gets sick you leave them? Is that what you are saying. @no1specialtoyou789Ай бұрын
@@francineherron1940a vow is a vow. You either honor them or you lied the day you exchanged them in front of your family, friends and most importantly God. Real love stays even when life gets too hard. I don't care what the circumstances are, you don't leave your spouse when they're down and out.
@damnhandyАй бұрын
@no1specialtoyou789 What you don't seem to understand is that the "until death do we part" is an affirmation that they will be man and wife until one of them dies, not that they must always sleep in the same bed! A married soldier or sailor sent to fight overseas hasn't left his wife. A married man or woman who is incarcerated is still half of a married couple too, unless one of them chooses to get a divorce. Think before voicing hateful judgments.
