I took a step back from 1/12 collecting to focus on 1/6 stuff like Hot Toys, and I decided to check on whether or not P-Bandai has gotten any better and seeing all this just reminds me that my doubts on them ever improving will actually happen. This kinda does feel like people were baited into getting on the site to get those "Ah man I missed out on what I was committed to getting, may as well get something now that I'm here" sales, so PB must be sweating for sales I reckon. I doubt much will change in the end, so long as people keep buying but it is what it is. Thanks for sharing!

I was really excited to finally get beast cuz he looks pretty cool, and he wasn’t overpriced surprisingly. But since I got schoolwork, I didn’t find out until I checked at 8 yesterday and wasting money’s vid. I’m genuinely pissed off that tamashii didn’t think about how many people wanted beast, toyotaro, somehow kwei, and more. And then the bots/scalpers come in and buy all of the stock.

Yeah this event was entirely abysmal man… As someone who started getting into the SH hobby about a year ago doing reviews, unboxings and such it really felt like a big old slap to the face. I hope Tamashii/Bandai makes it up to us with a pre-order of some of the ones that sell out like you mentioned earlier, I literally would be 100% happy with waiting for a few months for them. Love the video and I understand how you’re feeling fam, earned a sub from me bro! ❤

I don’t think they had a lot of the more sought after figures at all.. beast gohan, fp frieza, sage mode Naruto ,etc..they all “sold out” at the exact moment the event started. And they even took them off the site entirely after about 20 mins 10:52 . It was a bait and switch. They were there just to draw you in. I really didn’t expect something like that from them.

I will definitely buy 2 or 3 legendary Ssj. After all, it is the current reissue and the body alone is one of the best there is. There are so many add ons that you can buy. I own the old version so it doesn't bother me that a few parts are missing. The price is ok considering you pay more than double for an Ssj2.

It was under prior purchasing I think under where it shows other info usually were it shows you the max pcs per person or account max for 1 had to really look for it but yea the SS2 Goku going up and the best selection lost almost everything that it originlly came with 😱

If there’s nothing they can do for bot protection then you have to do these restocks randomly. You gave bots a time & a place to line up & wait. It was an awful experience

Ive come to the realization that it was most likely just a 100 on a string,they were baiting us to go to premium bandai and say "dang i didnt get the figure i wanted ill just get another a different one",it could be bots,but i know of different creators that were glued to their freaking screen and kept refreshing,to be fair bots could do this,but it seems kind of suspicious,because why would beast gohan be 65 dollars???the lss goku i understand,its less for a lesser price,but even so,it seems kind of suspicious to me,they didnt advertise small quantities,they made it seem like they made one full batch,but well,we will see if anything else happens,it was 100 percent disappointing

I was only able to pick up Cooler…I didn’t really want much else, I picked up King Cold a few weeks prior and it had shipped by the time I saw it was going to be re-released. It would have been nice to get Full Power Frieza though, I was excited to save a few bucks on him.

I feel like a lot of people are angry at the economy and think they’re angry at specific companies. I don’t think anyone is getting rich off these niche releases. It’s probably really thin margins.

I sat for 20 minutes refreshing 5 different character pages, beast, frieza, 17, kiwi and after 20 minutes I got a GT trunks successfully. So that made me stay refreshing all the pages for another half hour hoping with no luck. It was so stressful and annoying and seemingly purposefully misled everyone to go to their website in hopes we buy all the common figures for retail price when they’re mostly all on Amazon at a discount. Also suspicious they removed those characters from the t week page where GT trunks is still on that page, did they ever even have Frieza or mui Goku? I’m starting to think they weren’t even available

My man...........this was the biggest let down of the year. I was going to order 4 figures. Now, Bandai won't be getting any of my money and I'll only be getting one figure on marketplace. Beast Gohan, ultra instinct exclusive, frieza fp, and Jiren were gonna be mine. In not even ordering Jiren now. Im so disappointed I don't want to support their business. This really hurt. Who the heck is going to spend 90 bucks to wait a year for Broly....... seriously. Its going to take a YEAR to make new Brolys.... get out. Im not even sure I'll be alive in a year. Not paying that either. Imma straight up save 800 bucks and buy sealed figures off Marketplace in bulk. Don't want to support them at all. They have an Opportunity to make a MASSIVE amount of money if they focus on Dragonball figures. Instead they put it to the side to work on other stuff

Easily the worst p bandai experience I've had, the only thing i grabbed was the Cooler preorder, but I did think about grabbing the ssj3 goku. I already got the EE SSJ2 so that was a pass for me. I was planning on getting Super 17 after seeing all the content people on Instagram made with him. The only thing Tamashii can do to make up for this is to announce a preorder for all of the "extra" stock figures.

The prices have been $30+ since the lines have started, where have you been at sir? And most of it is due to the figures being imported Prices for production have gone up in general. Toys in general are higher prices than they have been in the last 10 years. Also, you get what you pay for, however in this case not really as Tamashi has skimped out on giving crucial accessories with figures. And while eBay can have the figures available….its never for a lower price lol You’ll either pay $30 more plus shipping or the price of the actual figure.
