Oh how this song 🎶 tears at 💔my heart. Wonderful response to "Darkness Song" Bill, you are always great with the lyric interpretation too. Asaf has a magical touch that reaches and touches other's souls in such an intimate way. After hearing his music 🎵and digging into the lyrics you start to pick up on the theme of much of his lyrical writing. He talks about the theme of "opposites" "contradictions" and "dualities of life" in reference to the theme of his tattoo's in an interview he did for a show called "Dont Touch My Tattoos" on a show called GQ France but it is also in much of his lyrics. Ex: "Darkness" and "Shining" He talks about how on one wrist he has a tattoo of an ⚓"Anchor" ⚓ representing something keeping him down, safe or even stagnant. On his other wrist, he has a tattoo of a 🧭"Compass" 🧭 representing going into a new direction or movement. How he comes up with all these deep and thought-provoking writings of pure unadulterated emotion is way way passed my paygrade but I really wish I could give a BIG thank you to the girl who broke his heart 💔and set him on the path he was truly meant to be on! 🎼 Thank you again to @Rinat.N but also to @orlylivne for all that you do in supporting Asaf's music. I have never met a more dedicated group of supporters. 🤍
