I took the backseat approach to my emotions to try and analyze/keep them in check when I was younger, and all that ended up happening was me sinking into a deep, deep depression where no one understood me and kept disregarding my feelings, and I'd sink deeper into myself. An Aries has a temper. It's just how we're wired. Trying to change or reign ourselves in for others' benefit doesn't work and is not sustainable for us. We burn out. I've never been happier than when I was true and honest with my emotions, including my anger. If it's let out in a quick burst, I'm better off for it. We're all better off for it. You don't want to come face to face with an Aries who's bottle of emotions just broke.

This is so accurate, im a Leo and my sister is an aries. Growing up we were fighting a lot and it escalated very quickly. I realised with the years that it is better to leave the situation and not argue with her when she is in that zone. I was always the first who apologised even if i did nothing wrong. Hey to anyone who's reading this. I have Aries Sun, Mercury and Mars in my birthchart. I know a lot of Ariens can get mad pretty much about everything! I had mad issues with aggression since I was in high school. I started making a conscious effort to make changes since I was about 20 when my anger and demeanour had started affecting my relationships with people I cared about (won't be getting into details here). It's never too late to do something about our own shortcomings. I think me sharing this might just stir up a conversation in my Aries community to work on anger and aggression related issues because this is a problem with the majority of us, especially if we have one or more fire signs in our birth chart other than an Aries sun. 1) Have a hobby which you'd look forward to doing everyday - Music helped me here 2) Work out! Aries folks usually have a lot of pent up negative energy because of flare ups or even restraining ourselves from flaring up! So sweat it out, and it'll revitalise you and get the positive energy up. 3) Self introspect - Now this doesn't come naturally to Aries people lol. But I had to consciously build on it to make me a better version of myself. It's very important to realise your own flaws, that's where you begin. 4) Develop empathy for others - I had ZERO empathy but I had to make an effort by putting myself in someone else's shoes and feel what they might be feeling. This was the hardest thing to do for me! 5) Be less self centred lol - I think we are the most selfish sign of all the signs. We are unapologetically selfish. Do whatever it takes to be less selfish that's all I can say! There are many more things that can be done, but start with these first. Its helped me to be a better person. I'm originally an Aries Sun, Mercury and Mars; Scorpio Moon, Sagittarius Rising. Its a pretty messed up birth chart. Too aggressive and emotionally intense traits. But now I'm engaged to this beautiful person and I'm very happy now because I had made some tweaks to my personality over a period of time and it put me in a situation where I was ready to be in a functional relationship. I think Gabriela didn't mention something important here with regards to the Aries anger. No we don't get into a fight all the fucking time. Also when we are mad, we'd probably rant for like a minute or two but we get over it and we come back to normalcy like nothing happened. It's like a switch. it's so good to know that I'm not alone in having a lot of fire/ Aries planets. Sun, mercury, Mars and SATURN!! I really think Saturn puts a limit to all of this.The only downfall of it is having dark sad moments. It gets very dark at times but I always keep going. Leo sun with Aries in Mars. I feel like it can get super scary when I get so pissed. It's like everything goes out the window and you just see RED. When I get mad it starts off with more of a Leo "clapping and it's funny but with a crazy cynical stare of I mean business," then it turns to more and more fire but extremely quickly. I always envy people that keep their cool when they're angry. It takes reaaally long to set me off, but when I'm angry ( which is may be once or twice a year and for very good reasons) logic or common sense doesn't exist for me. I'm that idiot that shoves you and slams doors and throws your favourite coffee mug against the wall and there's really no reasoning with me in that moment. For me it's barely controllable and often I get hurt too because I'm stupid and kick stuff or hit the wall. The only thing I can do is put as much distance and doors between me and the trigger as possible and cool off...like 20 min later I'm totally burned out and ready to go to sleep lol.then's a good time to discuss things without breaking hearts , my own bones or other things... Injustice or people trying to take my freedom really make me angry.

The biggest advice personally I feel is let an Aries rant. Let them talk. Ask them questions. Aries is in the Head. The brain. So use that to your advantage. What would you do if a kid got angry. Tell em to breath with you and then ask them how they feel. I feel qalking away from them or belittling them won't help honestly it may make them feel like they arent taken seriously. Aries also dont get enough credit when being friends and how they generally tend to be able to handle the anger of other signs and how that anger manifest. Aries have a bullshit radar and so by default and no bullshit energy to them. Im a Pisces rising, Aries sun. I feel I have gotten quite familiar with my sun sign and although pur anger can be scary, I dont feel physical altercations are a common. I feel that may be a bit of a stereotyoe and it sounds more like just anger issues. I do feel we all express our anger differently and I tend to see that other signs kinda get more compassion, kindness and understanding then the sign labeled the God of war. So I can understand and often I see a lot of hate for pur sign but my most favorite people where the people who tend to see pasf the surface and dont run away from us. They tend to get a side of me that not many get to meet. Its like a scorpio and their shell, if you get passed the outer shell [ or for us the warrior's shield and armor] you get this big teddy patient forgiving understanding Teddy bear. Idk this is just what I feel. Maybe its more our Mars that matters regardless of the sun sign.

They'll argue and they won't let up if they're extremely angry (like if they see something as being unjust.) If they're just slightly annoyed they might brush it off or walk away because they don't want a lot of drama to come out of something that's inconsequential, but if they're really pissed off they're not going to just let you walk away. If there are people around them that are on their side, they might try to get that group to gang up on you. Taurus sun with Aries mars here. Takes me a long time to get angry but when I do it's difficult to come down. It can be stressful when you're still angry over something that happened 3 or 4 days ago. It's like a calm simmering pot of water and then suddenly it's a erupting volcano and even after the eruption, the lava is still setting everything on fire. Aries Sun & Moon as well here! I think something else to note about Aries is that yes their anger may flare up quickly, but they also cool down fast when given the space and forgive quite easily. I don't get angry often, but when I do I definitely want to break shit.
