@@ReklessStandardhe right tho if it’s true that this is going to run with the new engine then a lot on the gameplay side of thinks might be worsened the reason parkour is ass and why combat feels more rpg ish mostly comes from how the new anvil engine was build. Bordeaux tried to bring back back-and side ejects to mirage but it simply couldn’t work like the older acs because the engine doesn’t allow it too. Lets just hope they prove me wrong

@@damndatscrazyyy940 i mean ive been hearing about all the backlash with Ubisoft and the potential for ubisoft being bought out by their former co-founders. Theres a few franchises from ubisoft i hate that they took the turn that they did especually for rainbow 6 turning into a tactical extraction to AC going RPG and completely disbanding splinter cell and added it as DLC for ghost recon. I would hate to see ubisoft go under but dammit they give 0 fucks about their community and player base.

@@ReklessStandard same position as u ask me 8-10 years ago and lil me would tell u Ubisoft is his fav dev studio even made a presentation about them in sixth or seventh grade now all of this gone. I really hope the turn it around or at least studios like Bordeaux get their time to shine. It is still crazy to me that they were the only one acknowledging the parkour issue and instead of making basim just do cool flips with no depth behind it they tried to improve the mechanical side like side and back ejects.

I cant wait for this. The potential is insane, please dont mess this up ubisoft, they could exspand the ship combat by making it a lil more relistic and adding more to it, for example add grape shot from ac3, and make you exsplore the ship more, and have fighting ships more relistic and challenging, use chain shot to destroy the sails, grape shot to lower the enemie numbers on the ship,, etc, and make the world more exspanded, add specific roughys for certain things like the money ships, assasination targets, etc, ans the story stay the same but add some things, lile more missions with blackbeard, stead bonnet, etc, and show edwards guilt for bonnets execution as well, lets hope they dont mess this up.

I'm also hopeful, but if it turns out badly I'll still have the original to go back to. So even if the remake misses, it's not truly a loss in my eyes. Well...unless they yeet my digital copy of the original game that is.

For shadows it comes out when it comes out. I remember back in the day I would count down every day for when a new game came out and constantly look for new info. Been burned a few times like with cyber punk 2077, starfield even hogwarts legacy. Point is when you hype a game to be half life 3 reality often disappoints. Starfield has gotten a bit better, cyberpunk got a lot better and hogwarts was never too bad but it felt less like a game but a digital fanservice trip that was so non offensive that you almost get bored. Point is now I just watch some game news and have mild side hype instead of full hype. There are a lot of videogames to play so waiting for 1 should not eat away at your life.

Everyone is begging for this remake and saying its the best AC game, but when it releases its gonna be disappointing. Everyone is going to complain about the tailing missions, lackluster Assassin gameplay, and say it was lazy for them to remake blackflag. Which is it, the only remake they should have their eyes on is the first AC. However remaking these older titles may revitalize and bring forward the soul of the old games into the new. Ubisoft just need to play their cards correctly because everyone has lost hope in them, and at this point the hardcore fans are loosing faith aswell.

AC1 and Ezio's trilogy need a Remake more, Black Flag holds up even today. (Not saying a Remake of Black Flag would be unappreciated, but there are other AC games that deserve remakes and expansions)

Assassin's Creed Black Flag is the GOAT !!! Black Flag was released in 2013... I was always jealous of Black- Beard with his Queen - Anne's Revenge (Frigate), ship. It was a lot bigger ship than the Edward Kenway's Jackdaw. Bartholomew Roberts, AKA "The Sage" had a Galleon / Man 'O War ship, after he had a Frigate. I'm definitely a big fan of Assassin's Creed Black Flag. I hope Edward Kenway in Black Flag remake can choose what ship/s he wants too. Galleon ? Frigate ? Brig ? Schooner ? I feel this remake should have more missions, more side quests, more weapons, more outfits, bigger map, open world, more docking locations, more ship upgrades for whatever ship the Jackdaw will be... I hope Ubisoft reads comments and watches vidoes of actual gameplay so they understand what the community wishes the game had. It's nice to buy mods for Black Flag so you can sail a Man 'O War ship, etc. Ubisoft should take notes and deliver the goods. If Ubisoft doesn't mess up, Black Flag remake will be the game of the century.

While I don’t think Black Flag needs a remake at all, I’d much rather it be a AC1 remake so that people can actually play the game again, and hopefully fix the flaws with that game, I am excited to see how much better this visually looks from a PS5 powered system and redesigned art, the one thing I hope it doesn’t have is the same engine that they have been using for the past 5 games, give me something similar to black flag and it’ll be okay in my book

I don’t think they will change much of the game, I think obviously probably environments and stuff, but over all the main plot of the game won’t change much, I just hope the VAs come back to reprise their characters, Ralph Ison as Charles Vain was great and I’m just too connected to that cast

How many times has a remake/remaster been better than the original? Very few. IMO, there's no point doing this. Black Flag plays just fine on PC as it is. Knowing Ubisoft, they'll just make it even more woke, add a bunch of women pirates, turn all of the races black and LGBT, and make the game buggy and run at 30fps. Just enjoy the game you have. There's no reason to think a remake would be better.
